The clatter Dan released the die made everyone jump and look at the board (although Erica’s eyes were drawn to the way that made Jenn’s exposed chest jiggle above her arms). The die showed a 4, and Dan’s piece slid forward to a green square.
He reached to pick up the top green card and flipped it over.
“Roll the die to decide your trouble,
Odd - you stay and roll another turn,
Even - you move and then draw double
(Black - go back to watch and learn)”
While relieved he hadn’t been made to strip or start humping anyone, Dan felt his anxiety ramp up as he picked up the die once again. Tumbling it between his hands, he released the multi-sided piece and watched as it rolled to a stop.
“20!” Everyone yelled together. John added “that puts you in the lead, Dan!”
Dan gulped nervously, watching his piece begin to move even as he tried to count ahead. “Yay? ... but now I have to draw two... oh no. Blue again!”
Erica practically leapt from her chair as she scrambled to hand the top two blue cards to her boyfriend, running her nails lightly up his forearm as he took them from her.
“Erica, did you just... purr?!” Dan’s gaze lifted from the unflipped cards to find a stunning, but completely changed Erica practically trying to crawl into his lap. Everyone gasped as they took in the effect her last turn had actually had on the woman, who was now distinctly more feline in appearance. Erica was kneeling beside Dan’s chair, but a long tail stood straight up behind her, passing the tabletop, the tip twitching agitatedly. It was covered in pale golden fur with faintly orange stripes, and they were further shocked to see matching cat-ears poking through her hair on the sides of her head!
As Dan took in his girlfriend’s face, he could see that her jaw had pushed out into a slight muzzle, while her eyes had enlarged and lightened from brown to gold, the pupils enlarged but distinctly oval. Light fur covered her face, with the same stripes faintly visible on her forehead before disappearing into her hair.
“Erica, what... ohh god, I can smell you! The card literally made you an animal in Heat to add to your growing horniness!” Dan gripped her wrists, noting that her hands were also furred, with shorter fingers tipped by clear claws. “You have to fight it, honey! It said that if you give in, you’ll lose your turn, and we need everyone trying to finish this game as quickly as possible!”
Erica frowned, her new features causing her to resemble a grumpy cat, before she rose and turned back to her seat. But as she did, she flicked her tail aside and looked back over her shoulder coyly, and damned if Dan’s eyes didn’t flicker and his body lean in as he caught her scent again.
“Dan!” John shouted, clapping his hands. “You have to read you cards, and then Jenn can go again.”
Reluctantly, Dan flipped the cards over, reading the first one.
