Megan Decrux was sitting at the table, looking at all the paperwork that Mr. Bennett left behind. Megan knew her mother was wealthy, but this was beyond any and all imagining. The first folder she looked at was the financial assets that Alice had. Some of her assets were in cash, but she had a wide array of stocks, bonds, and other financial assets. Looking at the sum total, though, the value was well over twenty million dollars. From what Megan could see, Alice took the money from the men she extorted and used it to invest it in certain companies. Included in those companies were Tachibana Enterprises and Stowell Electronics. Megan rubbed her head in confusion. Just what was her mother into, and why did she get involved with so many men?
Sighing, she put the folder down and looked at the patent for the chemical Alice called, "Love Potion No. 9". Megan looked at the patent paper, and it was filled with chemical jargon. Megan was no chemist, and she couldn't make heads or tails of the patent. What she did know, though, were the effects. For weres, it raised their libidos to newfound heights, giving them an insatiable appetite for sex when consumed. It even affected normals, causing them to be more receptive to sex, to say the least. From what Megan heard, Alice used this substance at the Halloween dance last night, and if you mix that stuff with teenagers...who knows how many former normal teenagers were now dealing with a new fursona. And now that Alice was dead, the formula was Megan's now. The only problem was what to do with it.
Megan's eyes drifted over to where the deeds of the shop and house lie. Megan could probably do something with the house. With Alice gone, she could probably leave the apartment and move into the house. The shop, on the other hand, was a different problem. Megan didn't know the first thing about running a business and felt uncomfortable at running the shop. She'd have to quit school, learn to run the business, and keep it afloat. Megan could feel her head pounding as she pondered the prospects.
Megan's thoughts were interrupted when she heard a knock on the door. "Now what..." she muttered herself as she put the paperwork back on the table to go to answer the door.
