Arnold ran after Samantha, trying to match her speed.
Samantha was holding his Game Boy, one that his mother and father bought him for Christmas. It was still December. Late December. Of the same year that he got that present, and as soon as he got something nice, it was Samantha's personal duty to take that away from him.

Arnold was distracted, so he didn't care, which made Samantha all the more angry. Simply, she hung the Game Boy over the fish tank. That got his attention.
"DON'T"
"Why not? You're not playing it"
"You know what..." The controller started to vibrate, almost glowing, but neither of them took any notice. Soon, a bright flash was going to cover the whole room, leaving only Arnold out of the light. The world and reality were about to change for everyone else, especially Samantha, who was targeted by the controller, ready to hear any phrase that could alter her reality.
"You're just a..."
