As soon as he pressed the button he stood up in full anticipation and with a modest bulge in his pants.
He stood still for about 5 minutes when he realized nothing had happened. He quickly took a look at the screen where a pop-up window said "Transformation Complete".
"Why did nothing happen?" Nick asked himself, dissappointed that nothing had transpired.
Ding-Dong
Downstairs the doorbell rang.
Nick turned towards his door and walked downstairs to the front door.
There stood his best friend Lucas. "Hey Nick, sorry to drop by at this late hour, but I kinda got locked out of my own house..." Lucas said.
Nick stood there dumbfounded once again by his best friends stupidity. "Again?" he simply said. "How does this keep happening to you?" he asked while making a gesture for Lucas to come in.
"I didn't do it on purpose, and it doesn't happen everytime!", Nick rolled his eyes and asked "Let me guess, you went to swimming practice and forgot to take your key with you?"
"Uhmm, how did you know that?" Lucas asked with his eyes pointing towards the ground. "Well luckily your parents will get home soon" Nick said teasingly as they both sat down on the couch.
"Well actually they won't be home anytime soon. My grandmother got very sick this morning so I don't expect them back before the next 2 weeks, so can I crash with you for the time being?" Lucas admitted his reason for dropping by without any hesitation.
Nick sat there dumbfounded and feeling as if his skin dried out all of a sudden and completely forgot what he was doing earlier.
"I guess, if you need any spare clothes I guess you can borrow some of mine, now if you'll excuse me I think I'm gonna take a bath real quick, but make yourself at home" Nick said as he stood up and made for the bathroom next to his bedroom.
