Matt was walking to the store from school one day when he saw a gleam on the sidewalk. Picking it up, he found a small golden medallion. Matt was confused - the medallion didn't seem to belong to any necklace or something. Furthermore, even though it was on the ground, it was shiny and seemed new.
Confused, Matt looked around for the owner but there was nobody to be seen. Oh well, Matt thought. He pocketed the medallion and continued walking, thinking nothing of it.
At the store, Matt searched the aisles. He needed new shoes for the start of school. Luckily, he spied a bargain bin full of different pairs of socks. Matt knew the store required these in order to try them on, so he intentionally grabbed the first pair that he could find. Without looking, Matt quickly pocketed the socks next to the medallion and walked towards the changing room. The medallion gleamed as he did so.
Walking into the change room, Matt took off his old shoes and picked up the socks he'd gotten. They were huge! Easily much too big for Matt's fairly small feet. Matt sighed and just pulled the socks on his feet. He didn't bother to pull his old shoes on, instead staying in his socks.
As he stood up, Matt felt a tingle on his feet. Suddenly, he saw his feet begin to grow! Matt stared open-mouthed as his feet began to stretch further and further along the carpet, growing larger and larger. They crawled across the carpet, the socks casually stretching out to cover Matt's growing feet. Placing his foot next to his shoe, Matt gasped when he saw that his foot was already over an inch bigger than the shoe! And it was still going, stretching out across the floor slowly further and further.
Finally, the growth slowed down and stopped. Matt managed to find a size measurement device and measured. He found that his feet were now Size 18! They easily extended a couple of inches beyond his old shoes. Matt just stared open-mouthed.
