"So, you gonna tell us why you're wearing those ridiculous pig ears? The game with varison county isn't till next week." The opposing varsity team for next weeks big football game did have a large boar as it's mascot, but that was the furthest thing from Jenifer's mind right now.
She reached a hand up gently to the side of her head, and was met with a very wide, somewhat thin, pointed, and floppy ear. She let it go out of shock, after feeling the touch of her hand through it, and the top curled over itself as a porcine ear often does. She couldn't let on that it felt real though, and regained her composure quickly.
"Yeah well....you know me....any chance I can get to start making fun of our competition....heh heh..." It was at that point, that the itching on her rear came to a head, and she felt something push out against her skirt. It was small and long, and the first thing she thought of...was that she was involuntarily going to the bathroom. Excusing herself quickly, she rushed to the girls room on the other side of detention hall. No one used it during school hours, so it was the perfect place to examine herself.
Her first concern was heading into the stall and checking behind her skirt for her feared emergency, but thankfully, all signs pointed to something other than a mess. What made her breath catch in her throat though, was when she pulled her skirt down, and saw a ropey little tail beginning to wag behind her. It had a few sparse hairs poking out of it, and when it moved too much, it started to curl around itself into a typical pigs shape. "No......no no no NO!" Leaving her skirt down, Jen rushed to the mirror to examine her ears, and nearly screamed. "NO! NO PLEASE..." On the sides of Jen's head, large and floppy pigs ears framed her blonde head, curling forward in fear.
Jen had always hated pigs.....they were so fat and smelly....slept and ate in their own waste and mud.....they ate slimy garbage for pete's sake! With a sneeze, and a light sniffle, the morning's phonecall surfaced in her mind. 'You'll grow the ears and tail of the animal you hate most.' Kyle......the town curse.......it was all real! She had to find him and get him to undo this or...something! Jenifer sneezed again, and then suddenly felt a little light headed, as if the effects of this 'virus' were actually a normal sickness. Should she try and go home sick? No, the effects of the dare made her go to school today....that probably meant for the whole day.
Having an idea, Jen pulled a large beret out of her purse, which she kept in case the sun got too much....or she just felt like showing off. Tucking her large ears inside, and then fitting it over her hair properly, it held the illusion that she was normal. Her hearing was a bit muffled through the fabric, but it would have to do...there were only two classes left for the day anyway. She tucked her new tail between her cheeks and pulled her skirt up. At a glance, she was the same Jen everyone knew....that would have to be enough. She had to find Kyle!
