The Bodybuilding Competition was one of the highest points of the IAC last year, so it wasn't much of a surprise that would be bringing in a lot of spectators this year. The competition that was being held in Dinosaur City was very well-attended. The Dino Dome was so packed, it was almost standing room only. A bit more security had to be added to make sure the crowd did not overflow into the stadium.
That was more for the crowd's protection than the competitors'. It was pretty unlikely, though not impossible, for a horde of humans to hurt the Dinotopians. However, because Dinotopians were the largest of the Animalians, the weights they used were also massive in order to truly test their strengths. They may have the appearance of being made of stone, bone, and wood, but there was plenty of tungsten and iron in them to make them extremely heavy. Even Animalians in the regular Bodybuilding Competition would struggle to lift some of these weights. And a human could be easily crushed to death if they were too close when the weight was put down.
But even with everyone having to keep their distance, there was still a lot to see. And it wasn't just amazing Feats of Strength that drew in the crowds. There was a lot of fanservice to be had considering how well-built the contestants are, particularly the women. Though there were dressed more relatively moderately than the bodybuilders in last IAC's competition. In keeping with the prehistoric theme, they wore faux-fur loincloths, with the women wearing similar bikini tops. They covered more than the bodybuilders had on last time, but it still showed off more than enough skin for the the audience.
Though the Adonis/Amazon looks of the Dinotopians was plenty enough to excite the crowd, what they could do with those muscles was really wowing. For instance, Mr. M doing the Atlas Test had a couple of people holding their breath. That giant stone globe was nothing to make light of and it was clearly taking effort to keep it from falling. But Mr. M was able to keep it aloft for the whole minute. The Ultimate Couples Challenge wasn't quite as complicated and involved here, considering some Dinotopians weren't quite as flexible as other Animalians. Still, Andrew and Jen were one of the most favored couples to be in that competition.
Though definitely one of the most favorite participants was Tyra Ramos. It was very little doubt that she was a sexy dinosaur as her career in the Meat Market proudly showed. But she wasn't just curves and ample bosom. She had spent months working out to get ready for the contest and the results clearly showed. Her muscles were very well-defined, looking like she was chiseled from red marble. Tyra clearly exceeded in the posing department. She was very limber for her size, another benefit of her dancing career. But her Feats of Strength really stood out. Yes, she could bend metal bars and break stones, but she had something more particular in mind for the latter.
Tyra walked out into the stadium, sashaying in her cavewoman outfit. She walked confidently with a large sledgehammer over one shoulder. In the middle of the stadium was a large rock with a metal spike partially buried in it. The Feat was simple: Tyra would hit that metal spike with her hammer as many times as it took for the spike to either be driven in or rock to split. Of course, the objective was to do it in the least amount of hits as possible. And considering it was a big rock and a long spike, it wouldn't be that simple to bust.
Tyra stood by the rock and aimed her hammer carefully. She held it up high, which also had the effect of pushing out her breasts. Then with a mighty swing, she brought the hammer head down on the spike. Sparks flew as the spike was driven into the rock. It didn't go in all the way, but it was more than halfway in. Another blow of the hammer buried the spike in deeper, but it also make the rock split open. There was a loud cheer from the crowd at that. Tyra just held her hammer up in triumph.
Of course, that steel-driving test could have been done with more ease by one of the sauropods, but it was still very impressive for Tyra. It was impressive enough that she ended up winning the gold medal for her weight class in the female division. Tyra was rather proud of her accomplishment. She couldn't wait to show Countess Irena her medal when she went to Spain for her honeymoon.
