Richard Walls, the CEO of Clempton Inc, the biggest and most well known company the public has ever seen. Richard has a wife named Jackie. She is an average woman in looks, but only loves Richard for his money.
Richard has everything, he has a huge mansion, he has every car you can think of and more. He has stacks upon stacks of money that if someone came to rob him they wouldn’t have room for everything.
Even though Richard had everything, he craved for more, he can get anything. But he wants something not even money can afford. That’s when the shop appeared.
Richard came across an alleyway on the street, down that alleyway he saw a mystical looking Store, the kind a fortune teller would be at. He usually wouldn’t go into one of these but something about it drew him in.
Inside the store was a large selection of single items, no item was the same. From statuettes to crystal balls to a magical wand. It had anything you could conceive. Sitting at the counter of this store was a crooked old man, long grey hair and beard. He looked up at Richard. Richard walked closer. “My Store has Everything” said a croaky, old voice coming from the man, “and yet, you seek something that cannot he purchased,”
“Yes, as it so happens that is exactly what I want... how did you know” Richard asked, puzzled
“Well, my eyes can see more than you can comprehend... yet...” the old man said,
“Well what are you trying to tell me then??”
“You seek... this.” The old man holds out his hand, it begins to glow every colour at once, as if time itself was condensed into a ball of energy. Reality warping around it. That ball floated there, the old man sat down again.
“You seek power, and I have been cursed to give each and every soul that enters my Store their desired gift. So here is my gift to you... the gift of power beyond anything imaginable... and it is there, all you have to do is touch it...”
Richard looks at the man, confused, scared, but intrigued could he at this very moment be given power never before seen. Richard lifts out his arm with open hand, he takes a deep breath, looks at the old man, and grasps the ball. A surge of power fills his body before he seeing nothing but light.
He wakes in his bed at home, his wife asleep next to him. He looks at his hands, nothing, they’re normal, nothing has changed. He gets up and looks at himself, nothing.
‘What the hell’ he thinks to himself, “What the hell!!”
His wife wakes up, “Richard!! Shut up I’m trying to sleep!!”
“No I just got given infinite power you don’t need to sleep!! You should see what I can do but I can’t!!”
“Richard it was a dream, I’m not even tired anymore, wait why am I not tired!? I was up until 4 o’clock reading,”
“Wait!! It worked, then why aren’t you, big, like huge!!”
“Richard that’s horrible you think I’m not—“ she is suddenly cut off by a strange feeling, “what the hell,” she looks down and sees herself growing bigger in all directions. She’s bigger than he bed!!
“Holy shit it works!!”
“Richard make it stop!!” She is not touching both walls,
“Okay, STOP!!” Her body stops growing, but she is the same size,
“Richard FIX ME!! NOW!!!”
