Gloria, Katie, Kellie, and the rest of the girls headed out and met Derrick and Morgan at a restaurant where it looked like the two of them were having a little argument.
"I never told them anything, they figured it out on their own." Derrick said to Morgan.
"You must've said something, otherwise how else could they ha.....hey there girls. I didn't expect to see you all here." Morgan Dean said to her students who didn't look all that shocked about seeing two of their teachers together.
"It's okay Miss Dean, we already knew about you and Mister Harris." Gloria said to her teacher.
"Oh, you did? Okay, wow, yeah. So it's just a little bit strange for me. I mean it's one thing for Derrick, I mean, Mister Harris's family to know, but for some of my own students? It's just something I've got to get used to." Morgan said to Gloria as they all went into eat breakfast.
Everyone sat down inside and ordered their breakfast.
"Oh, hey, don't worry about breakfast, I've got you covered." Derrick said to Morgan.
"Really, you're so sweet." Morgan said putting her hand on Derrick's hand.
"Yeah, I offered to pay for everyone's breakfast actually." Derrick said.
"Alright! Free meal from Mister Harris, it's official, you're my new favorite teacher." Sasha thanked Derrick.
While everyone else looked happy about it, Morgan didn't look so much happy.
"Um, Derrick, paying for yourself and me is one thing. But did you take into account how much it would be for everyone here?" Morgan asked her boyfriend sounding a little angry.
"It's just a few more people." Derrick reluctantly argued.
"A few? A few?! Derrick, you're paying for ten people and this little get away was wonderful and all, but you've got to remember to limit your spending especially with your salary." Morgan reminded him.
"It's not like you have a higher salary than mine." Derrick argued.
"Oh good lord, he's done it now." Kellie whispered to Katie.
"Maybe not, but I'm the one who helps you handle how much money you should spend and who has been trying to help you find a place to live so you can finally move out of your parents house." Morgan said.
"I've been trying to, but you never want to help me search for a good place, you always say you're too busy trying to get ready for the next school semester."
"Well I'm sorry if I want to be ready for the next school year and keep my job because...." Morgan started to argue back when she was suddenly interrupted.
"ENOUGH!" A shout and a slam on the table came and it came from Jackie of all people.
"Listen: Mister Harris, Miss Dean. You two are both on summer vacation like the rest of us and should be enjoying it with each other, not fighting. Mister Harris, maybe before summer vacation is over, you and Miss Dean should look for a place together and when I say together, I mean place for both you and Miss Dean because frankly you two act like you're already a married couple." Jackie said as she finished and took a sip of her water.
Derrick and Morgan both sat there with blank expressions at Jackie and then looked at each other.
"I....suppose we could do that." Derrick said.
"I really want to do that actually." Morgan admitted.
"Really?" Derrick asked.
"Yes, of course I do. Derrick, I'm....I'm ready to take the next step I should've taken all those years ago: I want to move in with you." Morgan admitted with a smile holding her boyfriend's hand.
"I'd love that. So does that mean I can still pay for our breakfast?" Derrick asked.
"No." Morgan answered.
"What? But...."
"You and I are paying for breakfast for everyone." Morgan clarified.
Everyone at the table was now happy that the matter was settled and could eat their breakfast that was coming up.
"Hey Jackie, great save there." Gloria congratulated her friend silently.
"Thanks, I've kind of had experience with a lover's quarrel." Jackie blushed a little.
"What? You and Ann have argued before?" Gloria asked surprised.
"A little, but you know we don't have to tell you everything about our personal lives you know." Jackie said as she began eating her breakfast.
