The other girls pressed Mary Kay for a explanation
from this strange turn of events and as she held the
old saber the knowledge flooded into her
head.
Once apon a time a Soldier and a Southern Belle had been
in love.
Alas the Civil War had messed up their romance and he
had been called off to War,
Now just like the vampire Count Dracula had used to
Civil War in England in the 17th century to come
over and turn a few English into vampyres
the Countess Bathory two centuries later used the Civil
War in the America's to come over to the South.
This vampire had been a little more selective in who she had
transformed into a vampire ,mainly because the Curse of a
vampire has a somewhat limited power and turning everyone
around you into a vapyre weakens the power of the Curse.
So the Countess only did a few vampyres so she'd be able to
do a few more ogres.
However the Southern Belle mentioned earlier was one Southerner the Countess turned into a bloodsucker like
herself.
Which meant of course when the Southern Belle's Soldier
returned from the War to the Plantation Mansion he found
a) his cold dead lover ,sharp pointy fangs and in her white
burial dress
in her coffin in the basement
b) a strong powerful Countess who used the Curse of the
Vampyre to transform the Soldier into a dragon.
And so as a dragon the Soldier had destroyed any vampire
hunters who came to the decaying Plantation Mansion
to stake his undead lover.
Until the two vampyre women left the South and headed north
creating vampyres, ogres and dragons along the road trip they
were on.
