Chad found himself roughly bathed and hosed down. Every time he struggled was perceived by Max as a threat to escape. Max growled menacingly, and Chad froze. Brad was a surprisingly efficient with his electric shears, shaver and trimmer. Chad was a little off put when Brad made a big deal of collecting all of Chad's freshly cut hair into a large clear plastic bag labeled "Poodle Chad's First Haircut." It brought back memories of Chad's first haircut when Chad was 5, and Brad was 12. Brad had shaved Chad bald, collected Chad's hair in a paper bag and then had told Chad that he was saving the hair to make Chad a wig if his hair didn't grow back. Chad had cried.
It turned out that Brad had planned to apply a depilatory as a hair cream to make Chad's hair grow back, but his mother had intervened. Brad had been grounded until Chad's hair and grown an inch.
Next thing Chad knew, he and Max had their leads connected to the same leash. They were led to Brad's SUV, and loaded in the back.
"Down, Chad," ordered Brad.
Max forced Chad down on the floor and lay across him again pinning him in place.
Oh. Chad realized, Max is training me to lie down when Brad says down. Like I'm going to- oh, crap! Max's boner slid out of his sheath to jab Chad's back. Maybe Chad would lie down quickly next time Brad said "down", and see if Max left him alone?
Brad played Chad's personal playlist. So he'd cracked Chad's phone's password.
Brad didn't speak to Chad during the entire ride. Aside from Max lying on him, Chad did enjoy being clean, and listening to his tunes without Brad's usual stinging commentary.
When the vehicle stopped, and the rear door opened, Max waited on top of Chad until Brad said, "up, boys". Then he leapt up and forcibly nosed Chad into a standing position.
"Come, Max. Come, Chad!" Brad tugged on the double leash. Max leapt from the truck, poodle Chad did likewise. The cold air on his belly, and loins reminded Chad that his fur had been shaved, and he was naked outside. He self consciously crouched down to try to conceal his nakedness.
"Present, Chad" Brad ordered.
Max growled.
Oh, fuck, Chad felt sorry for his dog Bounder. He had competed in dog shows, and had taught Bounder to present. He knew what he had to do. It was humiliating. Chad stood and straightened his back and shoulders lifted his head and stared forward. Then he stood perfectly still.
"Good, Chad," Brad said shoving a treat into Chad's mouth.
Until Chad tasted the treat he hadn't realized how hungry he was. He hadn't had breakfast yet. He remembered how Brad had helped him train Bounder. He held the treat in his mouth, and waited, and waited, and waited while Brad walked around checking Chad's posture. Then Brad hand stacked Chad. He pushed down on Chad's butt, and repositioned Chad's legs closer together. Then he nodded, and shoved another treat in Chad's mouth. He then said, "Chad eat."
Chad eagerly did.
"Okay, Chad with me. Max, with me."
The with me command. Chad rolled his eyes and obeyed.
Brad walked by the family home. Chad expected him to go up the driveway and into the kitchen door. He drifted toward the driveway. Brad smiled as he felt the tug of Chad's leash as he paused in the drive.
"With me Chad!" Brad said with a tug on Chad's lead.
Chad resumed walking at Brad's pace. They walked to the corner. Crossed the street and walked two blocks to the dog park.
"A good dog learns to evacuate its bladder and bowels on command. Then no more accidents in one's kennel."
Chad rolled his eyes. No accidents? Then maybe Brad or Karl should have taken him walkies yesterday? Oh, how humiliating, and Max was there to enforce the command too.
