Like all girls, Abby, Sarah, Jessica, and Sophie have dreamed of what their senior year of high school would be like. Back in middle school, they talked about what they should do on their first day as seniors. Of course, the four of them have become very different from the four girls who graduated from eighth grade more than three years ago. But some dreams don't change, just adapt with the times.
Abby, Sarah, Jessica, and Sophie walked through the front doors of WSA shoulder-to-shoulder. Each of them were carrying their backpacks from one shoulder, wearing sunglasses, and were wearing button-up shirts that unfastened and retied to show off their impressive cleavage. The main differences were what they wore on their bottoms, from Abby's worn-out work jeans, Sarah's short shorts, Jessica's designer pants, and Sophie's skirt. The sunglasses they wore had to be differently designed to fit their heads and cover their eyes. Since most Animalians had ears placed on top of their heads (or lacked external ears like Sophie), the sunglasses had an elastic band that looped around their heads, making them more like goggles.
The girls weren't just doing this to show off to the other students. The moment was being capture, mostly by Samson and Malice. "Looking good, girls," said Samson as he worked the camera. It was a simple enough device that he could operate it with his hoof-tipped fingers.
"I still think I should be in this," said Malice as she snapped pictures.
"Well, this is one of those BFFs moments," said Sarah, "I mean, you're a great sister, but you weren't always there. In fact, I don't think you were born yet when we first talked about this."
"What are we going to be using this pictures for, anyways?" asked Samson.
"We can put them on the Animalia website, or make them into postcards," said Abby, "It doesn't really matter. This is mostly to preserve the memory."
"I'm just glad we're finally seniors," said Sophie.
"We definitely look like seniors," said Jessica, readjusting her shirt. Jessica and Sophie had definitely grown since the start of their junior year. While they might not be 18 yet, they were definitely growing into the figures that Animalian women were well-known for.
"Some of us have looked like seniors longer than others," said Abby. She and Sarah had been double-dosed pretty early, Abby earlier than anyone. Despite it having been about three years since they've been accelerated into adulthood, they didn't look much different asides from refined muscle tone. Some people have suggested that Animalians stay in their primes longer than humans, but there was nothing to really prove that.
"And some of us haven't been attending this school as long as others," said Sophie. She was glad she was able to be here for the first day of school instead of being delayed by a storm like last year, even if that storm did bring a pleasurable night for her and Roland.
"And this year, we'll all have our names on bricks in the showers. Right, Jessica?" asked Sarah in a teasing tone and nudging Jessica. Jessica blushed. It has become a tradition for Animalian couples who have had sex in the co-ed showers to right their names on a brink with permanent marker, even though the names will be washed off with acid at the end of the school year.
"Some of us won't," said Malice with annoyance. Simon had already graduated from high school and was almost done training at police academy. That was hardly saying that Simon and Malice don't have sex when they have the opportunity, but she had never been able to convince him to go into the co-ed shower.
"Girls, as much as this is interesting, we need to get to class," said Sophie, looking at her watch.
"Ok, see you guys at lunch," said Abby.
As they headed for their classes, Sophie walked with Jessica. "You don't need to feel pressured about going to the showers with Roger," she said.
"I do want to do that, eventually," said Jessica, "I just want our first time to be special." Jessica did feel a little on edge about her and Roger being the last virgins in their group. And the need to mate has been growing, partially helped by a rabbit's healthy libido. But she wanted it to be the right moment, not just because she wanted it.
"You have the whole school year to take care of it," said Sophie before lowering her voice, "Between you and me, Roland and I haven't been to the showers either."
"Really? I just thought you hid your brick really well," said Jessica.
"Sex is fine, but we don't want to do it everywhere. Though then again, Roland has been getting bigger..." said Sophie. She gave a pleasurable shudder. One of the hardest parts was figuring out when a pterodactyl's mating season was. She and Roland had taken precautions, they didn't want any eggs yet.
"Right, so anything new you've heard?" asked Jessica.
"Besides the former hippies attending school to get their GEDs?" asked Sophie.
"I'm not sure if all of them were hippies," said Jessica, "But they'll certainly make a bigger freshman class."
"Who says they're all freshmen?" asked Sophie.
"I'm not the one who's going to be counting them," said Jessica, "Principal Marigold can give us the numbers."
"Yeah," said Sophie, "Anyways, I do have some news. Tyra and Rex have gone on their honeymoon."
"And they're going to Spain right?" asked Jessica.
"Yeah, Countess de Vasconcellos's villa," said Sophie, "I can't believe we haven't been there during our colony tour."
"There's a lot we haven't done yet," said Jessica with a friendly smile.
Sophie smiled back and said, "Yeah, I guess there is."
