For some reason you cannot resist the allure the Tavern holds over you. Seeing a back door to the building you wall over and give a knock. After a few moments you hear foot steps and a older bearded man open in up looking confused, he looks down at you and studies you for a few moments before seemingly getting a look of realisation.
"Ah! You must be one of the new serving girls I've been looking for." he says in realisation. While you did not know he was looking for work you decide to go along with it, both due to your own odd desire to enter the Tavern and also because it will help you blend in more then if you were just wandering around aimlessly.
"That's right M'lord, name's.. ah.. Ava" you say after a brief hesitation which the man doesn't seem to notice or care about. Instead he simply gives a chuckle and ushers you inside "No need for such formalities with me girl, save that for the patrons."
You follow him through the back area of the Tavern as he continues to speak "Name's Henrick by the way, owner and bartender of this fine establishment. Been looking for more help lately and you look the part. Now, we're rather busy right now so why don't you grab some drinks and start serving, I'll be keeping an eye on you and if you can make it like this then I'll keep you around. Now I assume you've got some experience in this field? You strike me as the sort."
Internally you're panicked at being thrown headfirst into the deep end, especially since you've never worked in a bar before, you have worked in retail however. Despite this you put on a face of confidence and even smirk, something tells you it might be best to pretend to know more than you do, at least to fit in, you'll work out the rest later you suppose.
Thinking quickly you come up with a reasonable story "Of course Henrick, I grew up working in my family's tavern before moving to this city."
Henrick nods, pleased at your apparent experience "Good, good." He then proceeds to hand you a tray and begin pilling on drinks while rapidly giving directions and instructions so fast you can barely keep up, eventually he finishes with "Now get to work! I'll be up here keeping an eye on things"
He then head back behind the counter as you make your way into the main area of the Tavern. At first you're nervous and thinking about how you've gotten way in over you head. But then a tingling sensation is soon felt around you head and body, originating from the choker.
After that you feel much calmer, closing your eyes you take a deep brief, glancing briefly at Henrick, who continues to eye you, waiting. You then turn back towards the main area, filled with drunk and disorderly patrons, and begin walking.
You walk forward with a certain feminine grace, you also notice you're having now difficulty with the heeled boots either. With ease you begin pouring drinks and handing out mugs. Smiling and giggling at the patrons who looked please in return. This is all coming so naturally to you, you wonder if its due to the camouflage device but don't have time to think about it due to how busy the place is.
You walk from table to table with a feminine gait, getting more and more used to it all as time goes on. No longer are you weirded out every time you giggle at a patron, it seems just normal now. You suppose that's fine, its helping you blend in while in an unfamiliar land. You now possess muscle memory of someone who has been serving drinks for years.
In between the serving of patrons you momentarily catch a glance of Henrick, who seems very pleased with your performance. You don't have time to stare for long as you quickly get back to pouring drinks.
