In the morning, Naomi, Yukiko and Naomi's father walked into the backyard. Naomi stood out in the center of the grass while her father stopped at the wooden porch. “You are trying to summon her.” He just stated as he crossed his arms.
Naomi turned to nod at her father. “Going to try.”
“How do you expect to do that?” Her father asked as he stepped around the wooden railing. He made his way closer to his child. “You may have magic now. But you can't summon her without a contract, nor is she your servant or pet.” He simply stated.
“Because the magic I have is a mix of fairy magic. Fairies can summon anyone that they are more powerful then.” Naomi said as she looked at her father. Yukiko looked sad as she sat on her master's shoulder. Naomi grinned, “So I should be able to summon her. Yukiko showed me the basic summoning spell. I was able to make a trap magic summon spell.”
Her father's eyes widened. “You must be joking.” Disbelief covered his face. “Naomi.” He paused, “that is extremely advance.”
“Huh?” Naomi blinked.
Her father spoke again, “That is an advance trap spell.”
“What do you mean?” Naomi asked confused.
Her father sighed as he looked down for a bit. “What you are doing is creating a spell.” He said, letting it sink into the girl. Her eyes went wide.
“Like from scratch?!” Yukoko looked at her master.
Naomi’s father shook his head, “Not quite but this is reverse engineering a spell. That is even higher.”
Gulping his daughter looked up at him. “Umm do you think it might not work then?” She asked worried.
“I helped you,” Yukiko reminded the half drider. The young master looked over to the little fairy. “I know a lot about magic, and you can use your magic if the trap magic isn’t working.”
Naomi nodded at her. “Alright.” She looked out at the backyard and walked out onto the grass. “Then I am going to try.”
Her father watched his child set up the silk trap magic summoning gate. Naomi stepped back to see the summoning circle in a star pattern. She took a deep breath with a hand over her chest. Yukiko gripped her shoulder as Naomi went to do the spell. She closed her eyes before the silk glowed blue with shifting color spots between purple and yellow. Right as she opened her eyes, Naomi found that the trap spell….
