Why not make a complete switch? After all, the two boys did look a lot alike. Swishing his mouse around the 3D model of the house, Brad eventually found Connor in the backyard swimming in the backyard collapsible pool that had been set up for the summer. The boy was enjoying himself diving for pool toys, which he was having a bit of difficulty doing with his thin small body, though clearly determined to do so as he kept trying, even if he kept holding to the side of the pool and relied a little much on a snorkel and mask that seemed a bit larger for his head. Brad selected Connor and hit the Age Progression option. Again, this prompted the pop-up to appear asking if he wished to alter reality to suit the changes he made, followed by the second pop-up asking if he wanted to retain his memories. Brad, selected Yes to both, and turned his eyes to the ten year old boy in the pool. A few years did not do much for Connor as 10 turned to 11 and then 12 and even 13. He did get bigger, and a tad skinnier, but it was far from anything truly noticeable, and Brad only knew that from the Chronivac reporting the changing dimensions to Connor's increasing height and weight alongside his increasing age. The only real difference was that diving for the pool toys now came a bit easier to Connor as he began to tread water between dives.
Fourteen proved to be the big year for Connor as his height measurement shot up like a weed growing in a flower bed as an entire foot of growth occurred, stretching out the already thin and skinny boy into a gangly teenager, who seemed to be swimming more skillfully under water as his hands and feet became out-sized for his body. His lungs being bigger, Connor found he could hold his breath for longer under water and was enjoying swimming beneath the water, where his hair, already getting longer and shaggier, floated about his face in the freedom of the water. He stayed underneath the water for all of fifteen and didn't emerge until the ticker had indicated the now High School teenager was a lean sixteen years old, with some noticeable muscles developing much like a swimmer. It seemed that what activity Connor was doing as he was aging seemed to be having an effect on his growth, Brad noted, noticing that the muscle mass for Connor was increasing through his late teens as though he were getting years of swimming practices diluted into mere minutes, which in a way, Brad thought, he was. The swimming trunks that Connor had started in had now transformed into a swim team's jammers, and the snorkel and mask into goggles that protected his eyes as Connor began to swim laps more than goofing around like he had when younger.
Soon the older teenager was of college age, and fully grown and filled out as an athletic swimmer. The next notable change however came not to Connor but to the pool he was swimming in, as the collapsible pool transformed into an in-ground pool with hard tile walls for Connor to push off as he swam his laps in practice for the Olympics, because Connor had competed in the last Olympics according to the memories Brad was starting to remember. The young man was now twenty-eight and in peak physical condition. A champion Olympic swimmer who'd gotten a few silvers and one or two golds at the last Olympics and was looking to go for a complete gold this time around. Brad, curious as to how this change would affect his family, paused the age progression here, and let the blinding white light completely alter reality once again.
Connor was indeed Phil's father in this reality, with Rachel being a few years older than Connor, but happy with her Olympic champion husband. The effects of the reality change had improved the family lifestyle a bit, and Rachel was noticeably more "in shape" due to the advice from her now athletic husband pushing her to keep up her health for her own sake. Phil, from Brad's memories, adored his "Daddy" as he still called him, and was currently hurrying down to join him in the pool. Overall it seemed making Connor the father of Phil had improved things overall for the family as he had gotten good sponsorships with some corporations that had paid off. Rachel was happier and healthier as a wife, and Phil was likely on track to not only get the body of his young adult self, but keep it this time around with such an athletic father as a role model to look up to this time.
