Jennifer opens her eyes and sees a little honey bee crawling around her hand, looking a little lost. She isn't to worried about it stinging her since she knows honey bees are mostly docile unless provoked. Besides she always kind of liked bees and never bothered them when she worked in the flower garden in her backyard.
"Hey Sarah, how did you catch this?" she has to stop herself from giggling as the bee tickles her hand.
"Mom has a small hive that she set up to help with pollinating her garden and the others in the area. She was collecting the honey and the smoke she used made them sleepy. I picked this up to use for show and tell."
Jennifer shakes her head, "You might not want to do that, this little one won't stay sleepy and will fly away or get scared and sting someone once it wakes up." She looks up and notices the bus still has not shown up and sighs," you might also want to tell your mom the bus is late and she might need to drive you to school, after you put this bee back and get something safer for show-and-tell."
"Ah, okay Jennifer. Thank you, see you later," with that Sarah runs off back to her house, being exaggeratedly careful with the bee.
"See you too, Squirt," Jennifer shakes her head at the little girl and decides today is a nice enough day to walk to school
