Sarah’s entered without a look to the doll’s corner, and started getting ready for bed. She changed to pajamas, went to the bathroom to brush her teeth, and went back to her room again. She was speaking to their mother that Jeff could hear from where he was. He felt sad, as he knew his own mother wasn’t remembering him because of that little brat that he now had to worship like a Goddess.
“Princess, are you ok ? You are so quiet.”
A voice interrupted his inner thoughts. Mary and Betty were looking at him. he must had been mute for a little time, staring at Sarah while he was thinking of all he had lost because of her.
“Yes I am. I was just thinking how grateful I was to the Goddess for everything she did for me.”
“She’s so good right ?” said both the dolls happily. “We can’t wait to have her come play with us all again !”
“Oh yes, that will be a time to remember !” Jeff grinned internally.
Sarah was almost ready for bed now. Jeff thought nothing would happen until daytime, but he was wrong. She came in the doll’s corner and started collecting the dolls outside of the dollhouse.
“It’s time to rest now, my beloved dolls.”
She sat them at tables and in sofas inside the dollhouse. She also picked up Jeff’s new girlfriends who, from what the heard of their cheering, seemed happy to be moved and replaced by the giant girl. She came back for Jeff, and picked him up.
“Ready for your first night as a princess, Barbie ?” she smirked.
Jeff couldn’t answer, move or be heard, so he just nodded. There was nothing else he could do.
“I think you’re ALMOST ready, so I’ll help you !”
She took Jeff to her desk and undressed him. she took a box out and started searching something in it, finally seeming to find what she wanted. She showed him a short doll nightdress. It was black, lacy, and sort of sexy. Jeff thought he would have loved to see a girl wearing it, and remembered sadly that he would be soon the one wearing it. Sarah giggled.
“Do you like it ?”
Jeff nodded. He needed to play the part.
“Play the girly girl until she forget you aren’t one, and you’ll be free to act.” he thought.
Once he was dressed in this new outfit, he assumed that Sarah would bring back her new toy to the dollhouse. But she didn’t. She took him and went to bed, holding him. It seemed like, how it sometimes happened, she wanted to sleep with a doll tonight.
Sarah laid down, hold her brother closely. She shut down the light, whispering to him : “I hear the prayers of my dolls that the Fairy is telling me… some are about you, my dear princess.”
Jeff wanted to know how he was concerned, but he couldn’t ask her and Sarah quickly felt asleep. Wasted by so many events, his mind faded into strange dreams full of dresses…A fashion doll’s dreams.
