Emily chose "Transform" so Jennifer took out her cell phone
the one Kyle had zapped her with the Curse earlier
and said
"For your transformation your mind will evolve so you become
super smart with a IQ of 666.
The two girls dispensed with the 'Dare ' part and as Jennifer
watched Emily suddenly sighed and fainted on her.
As Jennifer watched in fascination Emily's head seemed to swell
a bit where her brain was obviously expanding and evolving to
give Emily a IQ of 666.
Finally the evolving done with Emily opened her eyes
again and asked Jennifer what their next move was.
Jennifer though " Geez with a IQ of 666 I was expecting you
to come up with that one "
From the glare Emily shot at her Jennifer realized that
Emily could read her mind.Apparently having a IQ
of 666 gave you telepathic powers but not much else.
"I also have telekinetic powers and the power to teleport myself and others "Emily said,still reading Jennifers unspoken thoughts.
"Stop that" hissed a cross Jennifer so Emily gave a demonstration
by suddenly holding Jennifers hands,closing her eyes and
thinking.
In a blink the two girls were a mile from where they'd been a
second earlier
Jennifer gasped in surprise at this demonstration of what a
person with a IQ of 666 could do but quickly calmed herself
and concentrated on the problem of the Town Curse
and Emily's new powers.
Emily idled away the next few minutes while Jennifer thought
things through and then Jennifer had her Eureka moment.
The Transform or Dare curse had begun roughly a century earlier,which happened to be the same time telephones had first
been installed in the town.
Follow the telephone lines and exchanges and you might
find the cause of the Curse at the end of a telephone line.
So Jennifer ,very carefully thought through the words she was
going to need Emily to transform or dare her with.
The Dare was easy,Save the People of the Town but Transform
needed a little more thought.If she was going to tackle nasty
Kyle there was going to need to be some nifty superheroine power Jennifer gave herself.
As a girl Jennifer had once read a book of a superheroine with
the power to transform herself into a eagle for a minute at
a time due to mutations in her DNA,
Seemed as good a superpower as any and so Jennifer gave
Emily her cell phone and gave her the exact phrase to curse her
with.
For a few minutes nothing happened but then Jennifers fever
started as her bodys DNA transformed.Jennifer was a bit shocked when the little covering of eagle feathers pushed out of
her skin,the comic book hadn't mentioned that side effect
but finally her tf was down and Jennifer got groggily back to her
feet,helped by a concerned Emily.
"Ow that itches all over " said the new eagle mutant as she smoothed her new feathers.....
