As she tried to figure out what was going on, Mary found a vial she had not separated before. When she saw the label, she finally realized what Emily had done.
"It can't be, she can't have done it. It can't be, she can't have done it. It can't be, she can't have done it. It can't be, she can't have done it....." Mary kept repeating as she searched for some vial that could reverse the situation, but she found nothing.
As a last resort she drank the Normalize vial, that had no effect, since Mary herself had not undergone any changes.
Mary then contacted T.F. Ltd to report the incident. And she received in response that this was a situation they had not thought of, but that they would do their best to resolve the situation and that they would be in touch as soon as they had an answer.
---Two months later---
Mary decided to take a vacation from her job saying it was a medical recommendation. One day Mary finds a package on her doorstep. On examination she saw that the package was from T.F. Ltd. She opened the package and found only one vial inside. Along with it was a note that said "The contents of this bottle are totally experimental, it should have an effect on a pregnant woman's fetus and not on the woman herself."
Mary saw hope in this bottle, so she wasted no time and drank its contents. After about 10 minutes it started to take effect. Mary noticed that her belly was growing rapidly and realized that the contents of the bottle had accelerated the pregnancy. But she found it strange, because when her belly reached the size for a nine month pregnancy she kept growing, stopping much larger than normal.
Just after her belly stopped growing, Mary immediately went into labor. Realizing how fast she was progressing, she knew she wouldn't have time to call for help. So she took her clothes off as quickly as possible and prepared to do all the work herself. Struggling for a while Emily finally left, even though she was just a baby now.
But even though Emily had already reborn Mary's belly was still big and soon the contractions began again. She had to try harder until she gave birth to a second child, this other being a boy.
Mary took a pair of scissors she had prepared earlier and cut their umbilical cords. Once the cords were cut, the two babies began to age rapidly, until they reached Emily's original age.
Mary watched them wake up and was amazed at how similar they looked to each other. The girl was Emily without a doubt, but apart from her smooth chest and genitals the boy was a perfect copy of Emily.
"What happened? Am I back to normal? But how?" Emily and the boy said at the same time. They were surprised to hear each other saying the same thing they faced each other in surprise.
"Emily, I'm glad you got back to normal." Mary said. The two then look at Mary and see that she was crying. "I didn't know what to do what to do, I was afraid you tried to leave me."
"I'm sorry I didn't think about how you would feel." both said again.
After a few minutes of silence Mary finally broke the silence by saying "Despite the happiness of the moment, we need to know exactly what happened." She approached the boy and asked "Boy, can you tell me who you are?"
"I am Emily. But did you say 'boy'?" he said confused. Only then did he realize he was a man.
Mary found this strange and then had an idea, she called female Emily into the kitchen, where she asked several questions for her, then she went back to her room alone and asked the same questions to the male Emily. In the end she called the female Emily back to the bedroom.
"Strange as it may seem, with the questions I made I confirmed that you are both Emily and have all her memories so far." Mary said "And to avoid further confusion I have decided that I will call you Etan if you don't mind." she said to the male version.
"No problem. I liked the name." Etan said
