Now the Queen of the Southern Dragon Kingdom had a fairly
major problem.
Though the King and her had been trying to have kids for
centuries all efforts had failed .
The various spies sent in the Kingdom and abroad had suggested that various pretenders to the Throne were
setting up their positions to seize,or at least fight over
the Throne after the Queens elderly husband died in a few
more decades.
Since dragons are vicious in their duels to the death
and eat a defeated opponent,the Queen did not relish her
retirement plan expiring on her,which would have made the ex-Queens
life very difficult.
So the Queen had come up with a plan to ensure her continued
long life and happiness.
Basically she'd paid off the dragons managing the Gutenberg
printing presses to create copy about the King and Queens
long lost daughters suddenly being found held prisoner
by monsters in a northern dungeon and being rescued by
the Queen and her sailor-dragons.
The Queen had just needed two dragoness's to become her
long lost daughters.
Since there were no dragons,let alone younf dragoness's
( plenty of aging old dragon-hags though ) in any northern
dungeon the Queens Agent in the North Countrye
the dryad woman
had been working on that problem.
Her fellow monsters needed gold and stuff and the needful
Queen had plenty of that for anyone who gave her what she
needed,two scaly kids.
Marceline was obviously one of those but Nicolai the Knight
had broken away from the dryads transformative kiss before
a similar event could happen to him as had happened to
Marceline.
What none of the other monsters knew was that the Queen had been extremely generous in the amount of dragoness blood she
had donated from her own body to do the deed,as well
as a audio recording the Queen had made as the 'Voice'
So when the dryad approached the stillborn dragoness that the
Knight had transformed into,she had no intention of letting him
escape her a second time.
Luckily/or perhaps unluckily for Nicolai
the Queen and her big Dragon Transport sailing ship and her sailor-dragons had arrived at the beach a few days earlier and were right that moment in the dungeon entrance with
chest after chest of gold and spices and silk to pay for her two
'daughters'
So before the dryad could kiss the Knight and finish the job the
Queen came bursting into the side tunnel behind her,
The Queen quickly assessed that though Marceline had the body
and soul of a dragoness,her mind was a bit weak.
Basically the dryad had botched up Marcy's tf a bit.
Luckily that still left the Knight for the Queen to do a proper tf
on and the Queen did the Knights transformation into a young dragoness properly.
That done the Queen and her sailor-dragons guided the
two young dragoness's,the Princess's back to their
big ship and prepared to cast off for the voyage back to the
Southern Dragon Kingdom.
The dryad and all the other regular monsters forgot all about
them,whooping it up with all those treasure chests the Queen
had exchanged for her heirs.
Kit,Dylan and Kyle realized they could either hang around the
dungeon or go see if there were more treasure chests
where the Queen had come from.
So they dashed to the Beach hooting and hollering to come along with the Queen and Marcy and Nikky the young dragoness
and were just in time.
The adventurers were on a new adventure.
