The Magic Shop

An (almost) relaxing shopping day

Janet blinked a few times before stepping backwards in confusion. Why was her head hurting? Where was she again? She looked around, finding herself in some clothing store in the local mall. Janet's eyes lit up as the confusion faded from her mind. She was holding a bright red maternity dress, and was browsing amongst a great selection.

"Hey, Earth to Janet?" A voice chimed from behind.

Janet turned to see one of her best friends, Alana, looking rather annoyed and amused at the same time.

"Oh, sorry Al, I guess I just got pregnancy brain for a second." Janet laughed off her confusion, giving her very large stomach a rub, putting the dress back, and then grabbing her purse to leave. Of course, unaware of any changes to reality and to the old book sitting in her purse.

The two women walked out happily together. Janet was a 40 year old soon to be mother. She had long brown hair that cascaded past her large ass, massive breasts thanks to the soon to be baby, and was still extremely attractive for her age. Alana, like Janet, was also attractive for her age, although she was a little MILF like thanks to having two kids already and being on the thicker side. She was still, hot, blonde, and in charge.

"Come on hun." Alana commanded in her usual bossy tone. "We gotta meet up with Steph and Megan soon." Janet rolled her eyes as she waddled close behind.

Meanwhile, "Stephanie" was not having a fun time. She was currently throwing up in a bathroom stall, as a much older Megan stood overhead patting her back.
"There there Steph, don't worry, this is all perfectly normal in the early stages of pregnancy." Megan reassured. "Trust me, I've done it before."

Steph was barely listening to what Megan was telling her. She was too busy trying desperately to hold onto her own awareness. The magic book changed her family, along with herself, multiple times over. It had incredible reality bending powers, and could warp memories as well. Steph knew she was changing, but she could no longer remember who she was originally. All she knew was that her three besties were supposed to be her family.
"I'm just gonna have to find the book, and try to piece it all together." She reasoned. "Maybe I can even jog their memories?" She thought.

A few minutes later, Janet and Alana spotted their friends rounding the corner. After a bit of squealing and hugs, they all started to chat.
"Oh what's wrong with Steph?" Alana asked.

"She's just got morning sickness." Megan sighed, still holding a slightly hunched over Steph. "Nothing any of us haven't experienced."

The ladies laughed, except for Steph who managed a chuckle. She wasn't a fan of the joke, but more importantly she spotted the book sticking out from Janet's bag. Steph's memory was sparked slightly, and she remembered being a baby boy and Janet a little girl on the second change? Even that she couldn't have been too sure of, but if she was right then hopefully Janet would be willing to hand it over. She would just have to wait till it was just Janet and her.

They all sat down at the food court, which almost made Steph puke again, much to the amusement of the rest of the group. After gathering some salads, and a water for Steph, the women began to talk memories and their long running friendship. Steph thought back, and could remember it all. She remembered being in elementary school in the 80s and meeting her bff Janet.

She remembered meeting their third bff Alana in high school. She remembered her first crush and her first break up. She remembered going to college with her besties and meeting their other closest friend. She was a fiery sophomore named Megan who helped them all out, especially with partying. She even remembered being a bridesmaid at each of their weddings, and she remembered her own. She remembered meeting Rick. Dating him. Falling in love. Riding his big black dick. Marrying him. And now she was even pregnant with his child.

Yet, Steph knew all of this wasn't how it was supposed to be. As sad as it made her, she knew she had to restore the world.
"My life back then might be equally as wonderful, and it is the truth." She thought.

After some stories of college drinking and one night stands from their youth, eventually they finished their meals.
"Excuse me, but I gotta receive myself." Alana announced.

"Oh, I'll come with you!" Megan replied as she got up with her.

"This is my chance." Steph thought as she watched the two women walk off.

"Hey.... Janet?" Steph asked.

"Yeah Steph?" She asked, mouthful of soda.

"Have you been getting strange feelings, from... uh, that?" She asked, pointing at the book.

How does Janet react?
