That afternoon, Riley and Nick were watching some movies on their hotel room.
"What do you think about going back to the circus?" Riley asked. Nick slightly stared at him and then kept watching TV.
"I dunno." He scratched his left thigh. "It was kinda weird."
"I liked it." Riley grinned. "There's real magic in that place!"
"I don't think so, it's more like hypnotism and illusion stuff." Nick stood up and looked for a soda can in the fridge. "That's not my thing."
"Really? Or are you afraid that it was real." Riley smiled. "That you truly were a lion this morning."
"You know what. Let's go back to that show." Nick replied. "I'll demonstrate you that it's just a trick!"
"Ok, then let's go." Riley smiled satisfied that his plan to bring Nick back to the circus has worked.
After changing their clothes, both kids went to the circus. In contrast with that morning, a lot of people was in there now, especially grown men.
"Hey kids! You're back!" The showman told them when he saw then approaching to the entrance. "Do you come to perform an act?"
"No, we came because Nick thinks that it's all just an illusion." Riley replied. "A trick to make people believe that there's real magic here."
"A trick?" The showman smiled at Nick. "So, do you think this is false?" Nick just nodded a little bit sheepishly. "In that case, you won't mind that you help me with my act, won't you?"
Nick wanted to refuse but watching at that man and his friend's faces he decided to stay firm to what he thought. So, he accepted the offer.
"Excellent!" The showman said. "The show is going to start! Just stay behind the stage and come in when I say your name! Riley, you can go and take a seat!"
Both kids obeyed and several minutes later, the show began.
