You fire at the group thinking hard about turning them back, a flash of light hits them and you see the cat and the wolf are gone and a woman and a man in their place, but the dog is still a dog.
"Wha what just happened!" the man exclaims. The woman bends down and picks up the dog.
"Oh Karl! What's going on!", she then looks up at the apartment and sees you and Keith in the window and makes a break for the entrance to the building with the businessman close behind.
"Oh jeez man, why did you have to turn them back!" Keith exclaims.
"Well I couldn't just let them get eaten!" you reply.
Within moments the group is at your door knocking, the former policeman barks at the door. "We know you're in there! Let us in and tell us what is going on!" the group yell.
"What do we do?" you ask.
"I guess we let them in and try to explain, if things get rough we can just turn them into something else."
You acknowledge this as sound advice, you do owe them an apology after all.
Keith goes to the door and you point the keys at it, "Alright, we can talk, but please be quiet and calm or I will use this again!".
Keith opens the door and the confused people walk in the door.
"Alright, what on earth is going on!", the businessman demands.
You and Keith clumsily try to explain what happened to the stupefied looks on their faces.
"So you just used it on random people!", the woman, named Kathy, yells!
"Yeah, maybe not the nicest thing, but we were curious!", Keith responds.
"Well can you please turn my boyfriend back to normal!", Kathy says holding up the dog.
"Tell you what" interrupts Keith, "What do you say that, as a thank you for participating in our experiment, we will offer you each a transformation of your choice?"
The group looks at Keith in awe.
"Does that count turning Karl back?" Kathy asks.
"Sure we will give it to you for free", Keith says then takes the keys and turns the dog back into a man.
"WHAT THE HECK!" the man screams as he turns back.
"Now what do you three want?", Keith asks curiously.
