"I'm fine, Joe," said Amanda. "But it's a little uncomfortable here. Do you know where I could find a pool?"
"No," I said. "I wish I did." Suddenly, I remembered: "Amanda, I can use the ring to make a pool, wherever you want it!"
"You know, that's a great idea," said Amanda. "But not here in the library. The boss would freak if he saw a pool in one of the aisles. Maybe if you made a pool that nobody else would notice?"
"Okay," I said, thinking. "I wish that a swimming pool would appear... inside my house, and that... that nobody would notice it was there except for Amanda and I."
"Did it work?" said Amanda eagerly.
"I suppose so," I said. "Let's go!"
"Joe, how do I walk like this?"
"Oops." I decided that I could carry her to my place.
I picked her up in the middle, and she giggled. "This feels really... strange. Wouldn't people notice me, though?"
"No, because I wish that everybody would think that Amanda was her normal self until we get to my place."
I carried her back, and when we got there, we stopped.
"Wow," breathed Amanda. "It looks like your house is completely empty."
I looked in through a window and saw that everything had been replaced with a giant pool. I opened the front door and gently put her down into the water.
What to do now?
