So why would Dustin have chosen to be a female dragon ?
Well his girlfriend happened to be a scientific researcher
who was a pioneer in the field of studying the behaviour of the
colony of wild dragons that had been discovered 33 years earlier in the Canadian tundra.
Dustin had figured that if he turned himself into one of his girlfriends research subjects
maybe Elvira,his girlfriend
could sort things out afterwards.
She had told him earlier that the human scientists were making
inroads in communicating with the pack of wild Canadian dragons,which seemed to be smarter and have a more complex and bigger
reptilian brain then their cousins in Scotland.
However for the time being Dustin was shelved and it was a wild
dragoness following her instincts that burst out of her former bedroom and headed for the north where her animal mind told her would be food,shelter and others of her kind.
