Rachael and Gabe were chatting as they walked down the street examine the little shops and looking for a nice place to have lunch as they both had the day off from work.
Rachael smiled broadly thinking about her family. She was a beautiful Asian woman not yet forty. She had lovely twin daughters who took more after her than her white husband. And there was Devon, who she felt both love and arousal towards.
But there was always a lingering disquiet in the back of her mind. Her daughter Emily had used the camera on her yesterday and it had changed her. But how? Everything seemed right.
She pulled her shirt out and looked down at her lovely breasts nestled in a purple bra. There was something about the bra. It had been something else too? But what.
Little did Racheal know that each time reality shifted it had reslotted her into a position that fit better. Little did she know that her daughters were actually her girlfriend and her girlfriend’s father. Or that her bra was Olivia, her girlfriend’s mother. Or that her husband had been been a homeless panhandler only three hours ago.
Rachael and Gabe approached a little cafe with outdoor seating. “Ooooh, squealed Rachael. This is perfect for brunch!” She took a seat at a sidewalk table while Gabe walked inside to order.
It only took a few moments for Gave to return with coffee and food menus. But as he sat down Rachael watched his forehead tighten and his smile drop into a frown.
“Is everything alright, dear” Rachael asked?
“Why isn’t Paula in school!” answered Gabe, pointing across the street. Rachael followed his finger. Sure enough, it was her daughter.
Paula noticed her parents at exactly that moment. She panicked. Rachael started to yell but felt a lump in her throat as she saw Paula raised the camera and photographed Rachael, Rachael’s bra, and Gabe. Changes ripples outward as reality reformed again, also changing Paula and Emily to fit into this new world.
