With Tuesday being the start of October, preparations for Spookyville began. For the newest members of Animalia Spookyville was basically a big outdoor celebration of Halloween designed to be fun for all ages and keep some people out of mischief. But there was some things that were needed to be decided on during the Spookyville prep before it actually started.

For example, last year's "Boo Haw Haw" was a big success, but now people were calling out for a different match-up this year. So the PR-MD decided to have an internet poll on who would be the vampire's challenger. It began in mid-September, and eventually boiled down to "the Mummy". While there was still some fine details to work out, the poll was out over who would win.

Another big thing from last year was the "Attack of the Cannibal Underground Mole Mutants". While there were those who certainly enjoyed it, there were those who were wanting something different. Due to busy schedules, there was now a new poll about what they wanted for such an event. This was released at the start of October and was already getting suggestions.

Another new thing was sign-up sheets at WSA and Pi Eta Tau for the costume contest. While the ones at WSA were for the more "family friendly" one, the one at Pi Eta Tau was for the more "skimpy" one, which was ironically the more popular one, especially at Pi Eta Tau.

Another thing that was decided was a decision to add the Animalia Renaissance Fair to next year's Animalia Comic Convention. While a little upset that it was rescheduled, it was a bit more understandable when explained. There was an increase in games and comics set in medieval (or pseudo-medieval at least), so the decision to have the Renaissance Fair to the Comic Convention made a bit more sense.

With October starting this week, there was a lot of preparation going on. But it was confirmed that there was going to be a somewhat different yet similar thing going on in Dino City.
