The next morning, Alisa was the first to wake up. She looked over to see her husband getting ready to go somewhere, and was surprised that he hadn’t reacted yet. She finally spoke up, doing her best not to wake Luke.
“Morning, Dear.” Ethan looked back and chuckled.
“Morning Hon. Looks like you and Luke are having fun.” Alisa looked at her son, smiling a bit.
“Yeah. And where are you going. I thought you had the day off?” Ethan sighed.
“I did, but one of the guys got sick so they’re short handed. At least keeping track of one of the kids will be easy.” Alisa could help but giggle lightly at the last comment before nodding to her husband.
“Yeah. It’s actually been pretty fun. Maybe when you get back we should try it ourselves?” Ethan smirked, walking over to give Alisa a kiss.
“I’m willing if you, but I’ve got to head out. See you this evening.”
“See you, Dear.”
It was about another half hour before Luke would wake up, yawning and stretching his arm before seeing his mom and jumping a bit. Alisa just looked offended, those she was obviously faking.
“Is your mom that bad looking in the morning?” Luke nervously chuckled, rubbing the back of his head.
“Sorry Mom. Not use to waking up conjoined.” Luke then looked around, yawning again. “Guess we need to shower and all now? This’ll be interesting.” Alisa simply patted Luke’s head as the pair turned to get out of bed.
“Yeah. I’m sure it won’t be too bad. “ and with that, the pair were off to do their morning routines together. They decided to start with the most urgent issue of going to the bathroom which was... interesting. Really, neither was prepared to even try that, but they both decided to just push through it. If they didn’t get use to it now, they may as well not stay like this much longer.
After getting that out of the way, they did some easier things. Brushing their teeth, getting a shower, which now wasn’t as embarrassing thanks to the earlier thing, though they did keep to their own sides for now, and getting dressed. To help both herself and Luke feel more comfortable, Alisa suggested some more neutral clothing to what they wore yesterday. A t-shit and some jeans. Something either would probably wear on a normal day. And with that, they felt ready enough to leave the room and start the day conjoined. Their next task was hopefully an easy one though. Making breakfast.
