After what happened that night, Luke honestly wanted to be able to give his parents their own time back. Plus the added benefit of possibly never being stuck in that situation again. So, the next morning, he did his best to work on the suit’s broken zipper, and was surprised when Suzie did her best to help. As he worked Ethan and Alisa at some breakfast. As they finished though, Luke jumped a little, yelling out excitedly.
“Ha! I fixed it! I actually managed to fix it!” Ethan looked over, excited to hear this.
“Son, that’s some of the best news I’ve heard.” Alisa nodded, knowing that some alone time would be nice. She was distracted, however, by the sight of her daughter.
“Suzie? You ok?” The little girl looked at her family, seemingly a bit nervous.
“It’s just, you all got to spend so much time together, and... it’s not fair! I want to be able to spend time with you like that too!” Luke, Ethan, and Alisa looked at each other. None of them had ever really thought about Suzie wanting to be attached to them. It was awkward and a bit inconvenient at times, and Luke still had school while his parents still had work, but Suzie was just giving them a look. Plus, they did still have all of today off, so what harm could come in letting the little girl join in.
Ethan and Alisa nodded to each other, while Luke agreed, trusting his repair. Ethan then looked at Suzie while Alisa unzipped the suit.
“Ok. How about this. You can join in with us now that we have the suit fix?” Suzie just had a big smile on her face as Ethan and Alisa helped her into the suit. Once Suzie was in, they zipped the suit back up, and became conjoined as a four headed family. Suzie was right next to her mom, and quickly looked around at their new, single body.
“Wow! We’re all stuck together now! This is cool!” As Suzie looked around, Luke chuckled.
“Yeah. It’s pretty cool.” Suzie then looked around, excited about everything.
“So what do we do now?”
