Thinking and feeling like your 12

added by O 3 years ago AR Mental

Duke snorted in disgust as Terry and Sarah left the apartment. The 12 year old couple seemed to be adjusting to things far too quickly for his taste. Grabbing Jessie’s keys they now made their way down towards the laundry room. Hopefully they would be able to find something that fit them. As they left he turned once more towards Jessie.

The 12 year old blond girl was hugging her knees, having tucked her legs underneath her now voluminous shirt. Gazing at the girl, he could feel something stirring. “Why am I checking her out,” he thought. “She’s a kid now for gods sake.” Looking down at himself he winced, he was a kid now too. Shrugging his shoulder he now trudged towards the girl, making sure to hold his far too baggy boxer briefs in place. “Mind if I sit down,” he asked.

“Free country,” Jessie grunted sullenly. Duke now sat down next to Jessie, shocked to discover just how big her couch now felt to his 12 year old body. Scooting forwards a bit he now settled his feet on the floor as he draped an arm around the girl. “What are you doing,” Jessie replied incredulously. “What,” Duke responded. “We were all hot and heavy not that long ago. What’s the problem now?”

“Hello,” Jessie exclaimed, gesturing to her pubescent body. “We’re freaking 12 now. We’re way too young to be thinking about that stuff.”

“What is with you,” Duke stated, his voice cracking. “We only look 12 right now. We’re still adults.”

“You sure about that,” Jessie grumbled. “Cause I don’t feel very adult right now.”

Duke gave the girl a curious look as she brushed a strand of blond hair behind her ear. “Jess I’m not following,” he stated. Jessie sighed as she shyly lowered her bare feet to the floor. “Look Duke,” she said as she gazed at the handsome boy. “This is going to sound really weird but, I feel younger. It’s like...I’m thinking more like a kid the longer we’re like this. Thinking back to, what we were doing before...”

“What,” Duke asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jessie could only sigh as she fearfully looked at the blond boy. “It feels...icky,” she muttered. “It’s like, I’m not ready to do that with a boy. Hell even thinking about kissing you kinda freaks me out right now.”

“Seriously,” Duke gasped. “Jessie, that’s...really weird. I mean we’ve known eachother since college. You being shy was something I would of never expected.”

“Oh so you think I’m weird,” Jessie exclaimed, crossing her arms across her small breasts. “No,” Duke said quickly. “It’s just...you being shy. Never would of seen that coming.”

“I was when I was a kid,” she mumbled. “Really didn’t break out of my shell till high school. Now that’s like what 2, 3 years away. I’m feeling like the shy little wallflower more and more. It’s kinda freaking me out.”

Duke sat silently as Jessie once again pulled her knees to her chest, staring sullenly down at her small toes. “I kinda know what you mean,” Duke sighed. “When I was a kid I was like super skinny. That’s why I worked out so much. Now I’m back to being that skinny little kid again. It sucks.”

“You don’t look that skinny,” Jessie grinned. “Bet you would be awesome in Pop Warner football.”

“Only if your their as a cheerleader,” Duke smiled. The two 12 year olds shared an awkward glance before placing a small peck on eachothers lips. For both grown down adults they could feel butterflies churn in their respective stomachs. It felt like they were reliving their first kiss all over again. “Duke,” Jessie said shyly. “This is so weird. It feels like we’re actually 12 years old again. Are, are we going to become kids for real?”

“I don’t know,” Duke said quietly, trying to hide the fear in his pubescent voice. “Let’s hope Terry can figure this out so we don’t have to find out.” Jessie nodded quietly as she leaned into Duke. Despite her overwhelming fear of the situation (reduced to childhood, feeling more like that shy girl as time wore on) for some reason she felt safe in Dukes arms. That he seemed to being holding onto his adulthood better than she was was comforting to the girl.

Duke sighed as he now hugged the girls shoulders tightly. He didn’t want to admit it to Jessie but he was feeling more like a kid too. He would try to put on a brave face for the girl, but how long could it last? Hopefully after Terry and Sarah we’re done with their “date” they could fix this before they truly became kids.
