The next thing to do was to emerge from the bathroom and see how everyone else had been transformed. Jade felt no concern for how they might be reacting, but the information seemed like it would be necessary to determine how to proceed.
Jade reentered the space where her "friends" had been gathered. She saw a motley assortment including a female dwarf, a barbarian warrior, an Amazon, a wizened sorceress, and some sort of male cleric. They were not elves, so none of them really mattered. They were potentially useful tools or annoying, dangerous, and even lethal obstructions, but fundamentally they were objects, not people.
Not so the sixth. Jade felt a pure, clean shock of hatred like being hit by lightning at the sight of the male light elf, with blond hair, pale greenish skin, and a glow of beneficience. She spat. "Stinking elf of the daylight" she addressed the male. "Abomination of the darkness" he replied.
