Ty saw a boy in the store, with his dad to buy shoes. He estimated him to be around 14 and wished to enter his mind. Ty learned that his name was Jaden. Ty decided to have some fun with him. But what to do? Ty wished to know what Jaden was doing in the store and learned he was picking up some new shoes for basketball tryouts.
"So he plays basketball... alright" Ty whispered to himself. Gleefully, he thought about what to wish for. How about height first, he reasoned. Ty wished for the boy to hit a sudden growth spurt in the middle of the store. At first he didn't notice any change, but then he saw the boy's shirt slowly lifting up as his torso grew longer and he grew taller! The boy's head began to rise over the shelves, though no one noticed as Ty had wished everyone would think it was normal.
However, Ty noted with a grin that he hadn't wished for the clothes to adjust. The boy winced in pain slightly as he moved around the store, and Ty could see why - his shirt rode high, exposing several inches of bare stomach. His pants were similar - each leg exposed a couple of inches of bare leg at the bottom. Ty realized with a start that he now had to look up at the boy, instead of the same level like before. He estimated the boy was probably around 6'2". But the boy was still growing! With a grin, Ty realized he had never specified when the growth would *stop*
By now, the boy had to be pushing 6'4". Suddenly as Ty watched, the front of his shoes, already bulging as they tried to cover the boy's larger feet, suddenly burst open with a loud ripping sound. Confused, the boy looked down but didn't realize his feet were still growing in front of him. Sliding his shoes off, the boy examined them, threw them in the trash, and looked around for a shoe salesman. Listening closely, Ty could hear him requesting Size 15 shoes - obviously much bigger than the boy's feet originally. Clearly he knew his size.
Relaxing on the bench, Ty watched the changes continue. By now, his shirt looked painted on, the fabric tightly hugging the boy's much larger body. His pants had ripped at the back when the boy sat down, clearly ill-fitting. And as Ty watched, the boy continued to slowly grow, his socks ripping as his feet grew still larger.
Now bored, the boy stood up and Ty's mouth dropped open. He knew the boy had continued to grow while sitting, but he didn't know how tall he was. He now had to be over 7 feet tall! As he watched, the boy reached up and touched the 10 foot basketball hoop with ease, without jumping. Quickly, Ty wished that the boy's growth would stop, and that his clothes were the right size. Immediately the boy's shirt grew larger to fit him and repaired all of the rips. His pants also expanded to once again cover his legs.
Luckily right at the time, the salesperson returned with his shoes, which had also been magically affected to grow to size 19. The boy slipped them on easily and walked over to the checkout to pay. Ty giggled as the salesperson craned her neck to look up at the massive boy. Who next, he wondered...
