The store clerk claiming to be your mother suddenly stops and sighs "You left your clothes in the dressing room? I thought I told you to be more careful Lina," she then places you on the ground and looks around back in the direction of the dressing room.
You are relieved, enough so to suddenly shout "Thank you!" perhaps a little two girlishly. She simply shrugs "Alright, alright now. At least you've calmed down. Let's go fine your 'magic' clothes Lina," the continued usage of the name 'Lina' and the somewhat condescending way in which she said 'magic' bothers you somewhat, spoken like a parent playing along with a silly child.
But at least you'll be able to get your old clothes back and return back to normal before long.
The woman motions for you to follow her as she takes off down the store, the dressing rooms are on the other side so there is a bit of a walk to go first. You walk passively behind her, a part of you wants to just rush over and be done with this but your small size alerts you to the evident fact you're unlikely to escape her, and if she catches you before you reach the dressing rooms it may agitate her enough to drag you out of here and away from your actual clothes.
And so you walk down the corridors of the store. As you walk you notice the tapping of your shoes against the floor begin to create a sort of consistent rhyme. Looking down you come to the startling realisation you have become childishly skipping as you walked.
'Could the magic be doing this..' you think, only to realise the voice in your head became progressively younger and more feminine sounding as it went out. Shaking your head you force your legs to begin walking normally as your head suddenly become itchy.
Starchy it you are able to make out a filling of it lengthening out, you catch a glance at a near by mirror only to see a young eight year out girl with long dark hair which has been brushed straight and neatly somewhat below her shoulders. She smiles cheerfully as she skips by.
'wait why am I smiling... and skipping again' you don't even need to take a moment to recognise the young girl as yourself. The voice in your head sounding even more girly then before as it went on. You are almost troubled by this when your m... when the lady you are following says that the dressing rooms are just up ahead.
'At least this is almost o- wait what's that!' you barely note that fact your internal dialogue sounds just like a young girl when you suddenly catch site of a row of clothing made for a girl of your age. The smile on your face brightens up as you study them intently 'so pretty! and that one is so cute. And is that a Super Ultra Friendship Princesses shirt?!' you don't even question how you know about that show as you look at how pretty all the clothes look.
Your mother seems to notice the look on your face and stops to speak to you "Well now that you've calmed down for your outburst earlier, maybe I'll consider letting you get something if you promise to behave," without even thinking you begin rapidly nodding and smiling "Yes, yes, thank you mum!" you shout grinning.
"Good girl Lina," she says giving you a pat. Then leaving you to your thoughts as the knowledge of what you just did comes onto you 'no.. I need to,,, think... I'm cute... no I mean an adult.. gi.. boy!' you shake your head and then look up to the dressing rooms 'yes now I just need to get my clothes back so mum will get be a dres… I mean to turn back...'
She walks up to the dressing room and asks you which one you used, to which you go "uh.. that one!" as you point towards the one you changed into your school uniform in.
"Alright, just stay here while I pop in and get your clothes" she says, motioning for you to stay still.
