As Luke is marveling at the scarily life like costumes he notices that each of them has a price tag on their Ear.
He quizicaly grabs grabs one to see the going price and his eyes go wide. "50,000 dollars?!" The clerk comes about with a sellers smile and says "Well, they DO transform the wearer. Is it so odd that such a lucrative piece of merchandise has such a, ah, fair market price, hm?
"Yah, sorry mister, but I dont have that kinda money." "How did the other guys afford this stuff anyways."
"Oh, you must mean the two gentile who ordered wold costumes a while ago. It seems like the ever so generous financier of the party they went to covered the whole bill." "Of course they got a filthy rich friend" Luke mutters under his breath.
"Well, ah, sorry for wasting your time, but I don't think I could afford anything here" Luke started towards the entrance while rubbing his head, but the Clerk's attitude immediately shifted. He promptly stepped between Luke and the door with the aggressively unreadable gaze of a bouncer. Luke stops, wondering if he should be worried.
"Well, sir, I am sorry to say that I must insist that you pick a suit. As you may ascertain, the nature of my products are rather... sensitive. And it won't do to have someone know of this establishment's stock without the correct amount of... insurance. So I say again, I must INSIST that you purchase an Item." "Oh, and, ah, cash only please." The Clerk gives you an overly exaggerated smile, like when a cashier is dealing with a costumer that's really pissing them off, but they want to remain professional.
This is becoming shadier and shadier by the second. Luke doesnt know if this guy is some kind of wizard or some made scientist employed by the government, either way, he desides not to piss him off any more. Luke scrambles for his wallet and looks inside. Not a good sight. at least nothing good in comparison to 50,000 bucks. Luke gulps, hoping he could buy some rags and get the hell out of here with the meager cash he has. He shudders to think what this psycho clerk will do to him if he can't afford a suit. He would probably get his due some other, more malisious way...
The Clerk is seaming to become impatient. How much cash can Luke Scrounge up? What selection can he afford?
