Cody ran to the front door as the doorbell rang for a second time. He opened the door to no-one standing on his front porch, just a parcel lying on the floor.
"Strange" he said to himself, as as he looked over it, he saw that the parcel was addressed to him, "I never ordered anything"
He walked back inside and locked the door behind him, his parents wouldn't be back for another three hours, so he'd have enough time to have a look at what it was.
He went upstairs to his bedroom and sat on his bed, looking more carefully over the box, he noticed that there was no return address. He then began to cut away at the tape and opened the box. Inside was a single CD with the words 'Chronivac 4.0' on the top, a small device that looked like a video-camera, a USB cable, and a letter. Cody picked the letter and CD out of the box and read it aloud:
Dear Reader,
You have been selected to test out our newly developed Chronivac 4.0 body modification software. Simply install the software onto a computer and use the program, Through the program you will be able to set up your Portable Emitter, and send feedback to our team.
He walked over to his desk and opened up his laptop He entered his password and then popped the CD inside. The software immediately began to download. "Body Modification" Cody scoffed, before realising the program had already installed. On the screen was a menu, with the options, "Scan", "Import Picture" and "Use Webcam", next to a large blank box, and a smaller blank box.
"Oh" Cody said aloud, "Photo Modification"
He clicked on "Use Webcam" and his webcam light flashed green, showing on the screen what it could see. Cody quickly took a photo of his face and clicked on the button of a red camera. Large green letters reading "Preparing..." appeared in the larger green box, before being replaced a second later with a full body model of himself, but naked. Cody gasped, as he realised the model was exact, even exact in his private areas. For a moment he looked at himself, pale skin, ginger hair, glasses. He was very skinny and wasn't very proud of his body. He then noticed that the other blank box had been filled in.

He hovered over some of the fields and noticed they could be clicked on for more information. He pulled a confused expression as he looked over all of his characteristics. "How did it get all of my information from that one photo?" he thought, as he accidentally double-clicked on the Nationality field. Then he realised he could actually change the fields.
