“Greetings Isaack Greenville, and welcome to the Mutation Game!”
Isaak had woken up this morning with a blue screen floating over his head displaying this message.
Moving carefully as to not wake his girlfriend he reached up to touch it. The message immediately changed.
“The Mutation Game is a mental-only symptom of the mutation virus, giving you the ability to treat having the mutation virus as some sort of RPG. Over the course of the virus you will gain Mutation Points, after gaining a point you will have twenty-four hours to spend it on a mutation or it will be spent randomly. You additionally have the ability to spend the mutation points of people you have personally infected and the people they infected and so on.”
After that, the blue box disappeared.
Isaack didn’t know what to think. He had heard of the Virus on the News, who hadn’t, but he had no idea he had gotten infected or if this was real or not. He knew that the Virus could have mental affects, and could do seemingly impossible things, like that girl that caught the virus that mutated the ability to separate her head from her body without hurting herself. But even still, this mutation seemed rather odd.
Isaack is admittedly, a big nerd, and among other things, he is a big fan of RPGlit, stories that take place in worlds that acts like video games, so he had some idea of what to do.
Still not wanting to wake up his partner, Isaack decided to think hard to himself the word “Statas” and just like that another blue box appeared.

Looking through the list, all but two of them had no mutations and one mutation Point with a timer counting down next to it. He looked at some of the third gen lists as well, no mutations or points yet, interestingly enough, the closer to zero the countdown was, the more third gen Infected they had.
Isaack still wasn’t one hundred present certain that this was for real, but he had an idea how to test it.
He opened up Unice’s page again and taped the mutation point. A new page with hundreds, no thousands of options opened up. Isaack was going to choose one, a visual one that will tell him if this was for real, if his Girlfriend developed the same mutation that would tell him if this was real.
If this was real, that would mean he had a lot of power over a lot of people, with that power he would…
