Feeling a sudden chill, you rub your hands down your arms, somewhat surprised at how muscular they feel. Glancing at the mirror again, you notice your nipples are budded, pebbled and erect in the cool air of the changing room. Raising your hands to cover them, you're somewhat taken aback at the firmness you feel. Your breast have never been much of a handful, but you're sure they are usually a bit softer and ... squishier. Maybe the air conditioning is causing you to tense your chest muscles more than normal. Yeah, that's gotta be it...
Lowering your hands, you rub your thighs through the tail-skirt and are surprised to notice how realistic the scales feel. You've held some fish before as your dad likes to try his luck on your annual vacations to Florida, and these feel almost the same: smooth and slick but not slimy, somewhat rough around the edges... lost in memories of your time on the water, you continue to massage your legs through the costume. What would it be like to swim in those clear seas with a tail like this? You've snorkeled with fins on before, and you can only imagine the power this muscular flipper would give you compared to that.
A tingling in your feet causes you to stumble to the side, and you collapse onto the stool, breathing heavily with from the adrenaline rush the momentary loss of balance caused. You can't quite seem to catch your breath, but you reach for your feet anyway, feeling like you must have twisted an ankle or something in the fall. The tailfin is pressed rather firmly to the ground, and you have a bit of trouble wedging you hand underneath it to reach your feet; was it always this heavy? Or this large? The fins seem to be made of some weighted, semi-translucent rubber stretching about a foot long at the base of the tail and maybe three feet across from tip to tip. You can't remember if they looked as big hanging on the rack, but you're confusion is soon diverted by your inability to find your feet underneath the huge tailfin. Maybe they've somehow... slipped INSIDE the fin? Feeling around, you realize you CAN feel you feet, or rather, you can feel your hands touching the fin. But... how can you feel your fingers touching yourself OUTSIDE the material?
