The next morning Steve and joey woke up out of their bunk beds to fly down stairs in their small p.j.'s to have breakfast.
"Boys don't touch those brownies they are for your lunch. Breakfast is over there!"
"Hey Steve I bet you I can eat the cereal faster than you!"
"NAH UHHH!" Steve replied, "READY?"
"YES!" Joey exclaimed, "GO!"
Both the boys chugged down the cereal as fast as they could. Mom didn't mind, for it was close till the bus got here to take them to school. Joey and Steve both had Mrs. Weedly's second grade class- they were learning about writing in cursive.
"Ha ha!! I BEAT YOU STEVIE!" Joey exclaimed, with a huge grin on his face.
"NO YOU CHEATED" Steve replied, as they both ran upstairs to change for school. Mom sat there in the kitchen watching T.V., talking to herself out loud, "Oh, they are so noisy. O well, they're just BOYS."
