Gary Aldrich, no way around it, was a total stud.
At his local high school he was nothing if not the biggest guy on the football team, being on the defensive line gave him that kind of leeway to developing his body in that direction. At 260 lbs, Gary was easily known across the school as big Gary. Sure his stomach was a little weighty and more a gut than anything else, but his arms, legs, chest, shoulders and back were all tremendously well toned and sized, so he figured having a bit of girth going on would not be that terrible. Plus it didn't seem his girlfriend minded at all.
He'd been just by himself in the house, flexing and posing and enjoying the benefits of fitness and athletics when he heard the sound of a knock at the door. He turned and scowled before heading off to go check it out. He looked around and saw a truck speeding off, wondering if that was who interrupted his little session. Especially with how into it he'd been getting.
Gary carried it in and opened it up with his bare hands, noting when he did it was some kinda weird little disc. "Chronivac..." He murmured and looked around in the box for anything else. Nothing. Gary pursed his lip as he thought about what it could be. He figured it might be something interesting, though probably not much so. Name kinda made him think of a photo editor or something.
He went with it up to his bedroom, and was rather surprised by how much he was anticipating trying this thing out. He was a little antsy with it, and wondered if there was something up with this thing. Deciding to just try it out and go from there, Gary put it into his desktop computer's disc area. He forgot the exact name - after all he wasn't a computer geek.
The linebacker was surprised as the screen went black and then loaded up a blue and white checkerboard looking screen. He swore he heard some odd noises from the program, and he grinned a little at what loaded next - a surprisingly accurate photo of his body, all 260 lbs of it in a T pose. He pondered, "Huh...how'd it...oh! Computer probably has like some kinda camera. Right...right."
Inspecting the menus that showed up on screen, Gary thought about what to do with this. So many options...he didn't know why he was taking it so seriously, but he figured at least he could try this out. What were the chances after all that it might actually do something, change him like he was a photo in there?
He looked at the info and made his decision. He was gonna observe it and see - a slow "change" over the course of, he decided, two weeks. Just a matter of deciding what changed.
