As her sword came out of her scabbard, she cursed again. While the runic enchantments that adorned the blade appeared unchanged, albeit alot smaller, the sword was now no longer than a dagger. Before she could further contemplate what else might have changed, the six sarcophagi, three on each side, burst open and twelve zombies came out, coming towards him with their arms outstretched.
"You shall find your eternal rest, spawn of Orcus!" she shouted, her voice sounding alot smaller than it had been before, as she ran forwards and stabbed her dagger into the closest zombie, channeling golden, holy energy into the zombie, and some additional strange, green energy Isaac couldn't identify. The effect appeared the same as when he usually smited the Undead: the zombie was disintegrated by the energy, as she turned her shield to block the next zombie from coming close enough to bite her. While her holy power appeared to be of a similar level, her strength was certainly not. She felt herself losing the strength contest against the zombie. But she was a paladin, and she would not retreat. She channeled holy energy through her dagger, stabbing it into the zombie, before stabbing another, disintegrating both as she moved up to put her back to the wall, defending herself with her shield as she backed towards one of the open sarcophagi. If she was inside the sarcophagus, she might be able to fight the zombies one at a time.
