The next day Gary woke up excited for what the next two weeks would bring him. No changes were immediately noticeable in the morning, a little to his disappointment, but he shrugged it off. At his size, 5 pounds was like a drop in the bucket, and he knew the Chronivac was working its magic regardless. And so the 335 lb hulk went on his way to school.
After spending more time checking himself out than listening in class, as was the usual for the BMOC, Gary realized at lunch that he was absolutely starving. He was a pretty big eater even before his first round of growth, but today he felt like a bottomless pit. He finished off 3 trays piles with food on his own in addition to eating some of his football buddies' leftovers. His teammates shared concerned and slightly disgusted looks at the grotesque sight of Gary shoveling food into his face like a madman, all the more concerned given their friend's sudden inexplicable growth.
After school Gary went to football practice where he continued to outperform his teammates thanks to his recently improved musculature. He did however find himself getting out o breath a little faster than he normally would have expected, but he shrugged off and attributed it to the unusually large amount of food he ate at lunch.
It wasn't for another two days until Gary noticed any real changes to his body. Now at 345 lbs, Gary began noticing some extra flab hanging around his stomach. He could still flex and feel his abdominal wall, but it was a little deeper than he had grown accustomed to. In fact his round bear gut was sagging over his waistband more and more it seemed. Gary didn't mind though, as long as he was getting bigger.
On day 7 Gary was halfway through his second transformation and had swelled to 365 lbs of fat and muscle - a total gain of 35 lbs since he started. The expanding linebacker sat in the lunchroom wolfing down his 5th tray of food. Two of his teammates, Tyler, the leanly muscled quarterback, and Pete, the lankier kicker, sat down next to him with concern in their eyes and an awkward tension about them.
"Hey, uh, Gary?" Tyler was first to break the silence. Gary finished off a slice of cafeteria pizza and swallowed before looking up to meet Tyler's eyes.
"Yeah, what's up?" Gary responded. By this point, his face was showing some obvious changes. His cheeks were rounded and more filled out than before. His square jaw looked softer as well, and the beginnings of a second chin were clearly visible.
"Well uh, we just wanted to make sure everything was OK, with you, y'know?" Tyler said, a little unsure of himself.
"What do you mean?" Gary said in between bites.
"Well, you've just been uh, putting on a lot of weight lately and-"
"Fuck yeah I have" Gary interrupted Tyler with a mouth full of food and brought his arm up to flex his smooth, melon sized bicep. It was round and perfectly free of veins ant striations, but it was clear there was a lot of power locked away under Gary's fleshier layer of fat.
"That's not what I mean. I-" Tyler was interrupted again, this time by a ripping sound coming from gary's direction. Gary had ripped his shirt. Not at the shoulders and chest as he had done on more than one occasion the two weeks prior, but this time it ripped at the bottom, having succumbed to Gary's expansive waistline.
Tyler and Pete just stared mouth agape for what felt like several minutes before Pete finally piped up.
"That's what we mean!" Pete said more forcefully than Tyler had confronted Gary. "You're ripping out of your fucking clothes! First your chest and arms, and now your gut! It can't be- no its definitely not healthy to put on weight like this. We're just worried about you is all."
"Well, I feel better than ever. But thanks for the concern" Gary said nonchalantly, not even acknowledging his torn shirt.
Tyler and Pete shared a worried look before Tyler continued.
"Well, I, uh... I think the extra weight might be affecting your... your performance on the football team." Tyler eked out, afraid to offend the best and biggest football player in the school who could probably crush him without even trying.
"What? So I might be a little slower than before. So what? Get off my back. I'm still the biggest player and nobody's gonna get through me on the field. So back the fuck off." Gary responded, tesnsion rising in his voice.
Tyler just sighed and got up to leave, Pete following behind him, neither saying much but looking both defeated and troubled.
Gary huffed as he angrily kept eating. The truth was he was more than just a little slower on the field, but he refused to see it. The truth was All the extra weight was really starting to affect his performance. He simply couldn't run as fast or as long with so much extra fat hanging off his body. His teammates began noticing, as did the coach, who asked Tyler and Pete to see what was up with Gary.
Gary didn't care though. As far as he was concerned, he was still the BMOC, and his girlfriend agreed. Over the next week Gary put on 35 more pounds of fat, bringing him up to a grand total of 400 pounds of mixed fat and muscle.
It was Friday football practice and Gary stumbled off the field wheezing and covered in sweat. Despite his previous 70 lb muscle growth, his frame wasn't used to carrying another 70 lbs of fat on top of that. Sweat dripped down Gary's double chin down between his large pillowy pecs. His broad shoulders gave way to arms that looked especially round but still larger around than his head. A large gut strained his shirt and hung well over his waistline. Between his soft bubbly ass and his quaking thighs, Gary could only wear elastic sweatpants. The sheer girth of his thighs reduced his walk to not much more than a waddle as he struggled to get his thighs around each other.
Still gasping for air, the football coach approached Gary.
"Aldrich, we gotta talk. Look, son, I don't wanna do this, cuz you're my best player, but I think you should take some time off the team and get this under control." The coach motioned towards Gary's gut as he said the word this.
"Are you- are you cutting me from the team?" Gary said, incredulously.
"Until you can get yourself back into shape... yes." And with that to coach walked away leaving Gary to ponder his next move. Football meant a lot to him, but he loved the feeling of growing a little each day.
