You run your fingers through your waist-length auburn tresses as you browse the old woman's wares. There are little clumps of
animal fur and feathers bound by leather and string, decorated by beads. There is a small collection of silver mirrors, as well as
an assortment of dolls. What catches your eye, however, is the rack of glass flasks containing various oddly coloured liquids.
Browsing the rack, you pick up a curious bottle that your gaze is oddly drawn to. It is wrapped in a piece of fur that covers the
glass except or the neck and the stopper. By the texture, you'd almost swear it came from a wolf. You read the small, delicately
printed tag that hangs off the bottle.
Eau de Loup Garou
A perfume for women.
Guaranteed to bring out the she-wolf in you.
Caution: Do not wear under certain astrological circumstances. In case of misuse, this company assumes
no responsibility for side-affects.
Well, that seems...odd...but, you think as you smirk, it's probably a joke. You know "loup-garou" means "werewolf", and the
disclaimer about "certain astrological circumstances" was probably just a joke, warning you against wearing it on the full moon.
Kind of funny, actually. You decide to buy it as you walk over to the old woman, reaching into your pocket for money.
"Thirty dollars," the old woman tells you as you hold up the flask.
It seems expensive for just a novelty, but you decide not to offend her, and hand her the money.
Walking outside the tent finally, you realize you've spent all the money you brought with you. Seems like that will be all the
carnival for today. You notice the sun is setting, and decide to start walking back, not realizing you'd spent so much time in the
old woman's tent.
Your curiosity gets the better of you as you leave the carnival, and you open the flask, dabbing some of the liquid on yourself. It
smells faintly musky, like an animal, and the odor is strangely tantalizing. It makes you feel a little wild. You shrug, and walk along
the forest path just as the full moon peeks above the horizon...
