The main entrance was right there, but all three of you knew that just walking (or slithering, in Nicole's case) out without a plan would end very badly. The lab has been wrecked and you probably didn't have time now to check all the rooms for any survivors or useful equipment to carry out -- more antidotes would have been nice, but you'd already used up the ones in the box on Andrea and Nicole and you already transmitted out the experiment data to the other research labs, so as far as the scientific fight against the wider lizard apocalypse went it probably wasn't worth the risk of sticking around and risking another feral lizard attack. Or the inevitable military reinforcements gunning you down.
Nicole, who up to now had been trying to get a handle on his new physiology and rein in the reptile's elevated sex drive (you note that it's likely that'll need to be dealt with sooner rather than later, given how long you and Andrea had been able to resist your own earlier), suddenly looks up and lets out a hiss to get your attention before moving back towards the security station, stopping at a partially-torn map of the area that was pinned on the wall. A claw tracing some roads eventually stopped and tapped rather vigorously at another location some distance away, Nicole's sudden enthusiasm accidentally poking a hole in the map which caused him to stop and look back -- you could almost see the embarrassment on Nicole's face. Andrea stepped up to the map and looked at where Nicole had been pointing, letting out a surprised growl as you looked as well -- you recognized it as Delta Lab, another military-guarded location where research into a lizardman antidote had been taking place. You look back at Nicole and let out a questioning growl while tilting your head; Nicole pointed over at a broken radio on the other side of the room from you three, then pointed to the dead serpentwoman and made an "X" by crossing his arms. You point back at the broken radio with one claw and made a talking gesture with the other, to which Nicole nodded. Seems like Nicole had been in contact with Delta Lab and learned it hadn't been attacked (yet) before the serpantwoman came into this room and attacked Nicole. The radio probably got destroyed in the process (not that it'd be much help if it was still working -- doubtful a bunch of reptilian growls and hisses would have elicited a good response). You do remember visiting that location once or twice several months ago, before the outbreak -- though the military assigned to guard Delta Lab wouldn't be particularly happy to see more lizardpeople approach them now, maybe if you approached them in a way that showed that you weren't like the others, that you three were friendly and wanted to help by showing that the antidote developed here at Beta Lab at least partially worked...maybe find a tree branch and wave either your lab coat or Nicole's like a flag as you approached? Surely a feral lizardman wouldn't know what that meant, right?
Well, you can cross that bridge when you get to it. First things first: getting there in one piece. You look at Andrea, who makes a point of bringing the rifle she picked up off her shoulder via its strap and hold it in her arms before nodding. Alright then -- off to Delta Lab.
The three of you exit out the front door into the night, the ID cards in your claws. It's about forty or fifty miles away, but that's by car, and looking around there didn't seem to be any vehicles in driveable condition -- the military ones that had been guarding the entrance were now flipped over and smoldering. Some of the civilian ones in the parking lot looked untouched, but you had no idea if any had keys available, or fuel, or indeed even if you could actually fit inside and drive one without breaking the steering wheel or something. Alternatively, you did see on the map that the road between here and Delta Lab twists and turns quite a bit -- in a straight line through the forest and across a small river it might be maybe half that distance if you travelled on foot (er, so to speak -- you glanced at Nicole, who lets out a soft growl as his new dicks twitch a bit, clearly trying to keep it down). There's also the matter of timing -- it's nighttime now, which might make it easier to hide and not get shot but the feral lizardpeople seemed to be more active during the night. Moving during the daytime might be safer since it'd be easier to see where everything is, but the reverse would be true as well. Either way, it would take much longer without a vehicle to get to Delta Lab than with one -- maybe a day or two instead of an hour or two. It might be worth gambling to see if you can find a vehicle that can carry you three to Delta Lab that much faster (it'd certainly be a sight to see, that's for sure).
