Dave’s eyes fluttered open. The sky had gone dark, and musical thumps filled the air. It seems like the party started without him. Rolling out of the squishy bean bag, Dave got up brushing his long hair to the side of his face. He stumbled to the wall of Jane’s room, and flicked the lights on. His eyes caught sight of himself in the mirror of Jane’s dresser. What reflected was an image of a blonde cutie, not the image of a college party man. Damn it, the memories flooded back into Dave’s head. He had been turned into a girl. Whatever force that gave her little sister a giant fuck stick must have also transformed Dave. I can freak out later; right now I need to find Jane. Just as Dave was about to go out to look for Jane, her shorter legs tripped on his longer pants legs, sending the poor girl crashing to the floor. Her old clothes where too big for her new body.
“Damn it, I can’t go out like this,” Dave muttered to herself.
Spying Jane’s closet an idea popped into her head. Dave could just wear Jane’s clothes since they were about the same size now. Quicky rummaging through the closet Dave took a pink t-shirt, a pair of panties, blue short shorts, and thigh high stockings. She wore them fast as she had to find Jane and a way to change both of them back to normal.
Giving a quick once around look of Jane’s room she saw a package wrapping in her waste bin. The ripped label said Chronivac 4.0. That was one suspicious sci fi name if Dave ever hear of it. Whatever was the Chronivac 4.0 was, it couldn’t be good. Dave then went to his room ignoring the raging party downstairs to search up the device. Finding Jane without knowledge about it could prove fatal for Dave, as she seemed happy to find that her older brother had lost his family jewels.
On her laptop she typed in the Chronivac. On the search page only one result appeared, The CHroniVac. She clicked the page and was met with a adblocker saying that this was a risky site. Ignoring the warning she continued onward, now on the site’s home page there was very little to be seen, just a black background with green links.This was starting to feel like a creepy pasta. Dave clicked on a link that led to a forum. What she read there scared her. People turned into inanimate objects, brainwashing, horrific animal mutations, body manipulation, and mind bending reality shifts. Different stories of all kinds spoke of the mysterious Chronivac. The only constant about it was that always appeared to people in the form of a device that was mailed right to their front door step. In all cases the Chronivac was bad news. Looking for a way to stop it Dave found a glimmer of hope. Apparently the Chronivac was destroyed before, hence the 4.0, but no one knew how it was destroyed or how many times.
Jane must have used the cursed device, and it was up to Dave to find her and stop her from using it.
Searching all the second floor for Jane showed no results, she must have gone down stairs for the party. Hidden in the shadows, Dave snuck a peek down from the top of the stairs. It was dark, and colorful on the first floor as Dave had rented house party lights. It was full of people from her college. Strangers, acquaintances, and friends mixed together like a dark mass of flesh. The music loud and had heavy beats that pumped energy into the air. It looked like a lively party, but to Dave she only felt fear. Horrible mutated things filled her mind as she scanned the dark for Jane. Who knows what Jane could have changed in the dim interior of the house.
