While you wait, you notice a purse on the coffee table in front of you. Curious you take it and notice it have your phone in it. You also notice a new, more feminine wallet in it, which contain your identity card as Hope Suzuki, along with a school pass for your new school, indispensable to enter it, and some money.
As you finish to inspect your new found handbag, you hear a happy, exited voice that sound familiar to you. The shopkeeper accompany a harpy wearing an armor similar to yours. She is a friend and a member of your team, one you finally remember. Her name is Ariane, and she is something of an aerial scoot for your team. Said aerial aspect of her work mean her official rank is airman, or airwoman since she's a girl, rather than private, but it's basically the same thing.
At first, Ariane give the impression of being like an hyperactive kid on a permanent sugar-rush, but anyone who worked with her know how calm and silent she can be. Honestly, it can be jarring the first time you see her on a mission, to the point one might doubt it's the same person. She is a fair-skinned girl with red hairs and green cat-like eyes under which she has freckles. Where most peoples have arms, she has feathered wings as red as her hairs. Thankfully, she also got bird-like talons were most people have feet, but it still make writing something awkward.
She doesn't have any weapon, but her voice is probably enough of one, without speaking of her talons. Of course, Ariane can speak without engendering anyone, but she can also make a paralyzing scream, and her songs can force people to go in her direction. She can also use echolocation, like a bat or a dolphin.
As she spot you in the room, a big goofy smile appear on her face while her eyes start to shine like a Christmas tree. "Hope!" She happily call you and, in one big flap of her wings, join you. Before you can blink, you end up in a feathery hug, which you happily return with both your arms and your own wings.
Now, all is left to do is to chat and wait for the others.
