Before all too long it was time for the big feast event, and what a feast it was! There were several tables filled with all kinds of food fitting the Thanksgiving theme, some of them in warmers. Because of how many dishes there were, it was less like a traditional dinner and more like an all-you-can-eat buffet.

While there were some who didn't know anything about Thanksgiving and what it was about, such as Elly, Adi, Mr. Hyun, and Ling, there were plenty of historians who were more than happy to explain what it was about. Adi, for one, was personally thankful that the leader of ISIS was finally dead and was certainly happy for such a feast, which somewhat helped allay her confusion about Thanksgiving.
She had been introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Hanson since she was dating one of the now famous Hanson Six, and she was a little intimidated by how tall and built Mr. and Mrs. Hanson were. But they were actually very nice to her and becoming something like a second family to her.

There was also a bake sale going on with all kinds of pies and cakes. Most of them were being sold by Kara and Steele, who helped attract attention for it by showing the video of their "accidents" that led to their conversion. While Kara's was shown as security camera footage, Steele's was shown as both the video that showed his duel with his reflection and the Farmer's Insurance Commercial that resulted from it. Because there were children present, there were silly sound effects to cover up the bad words in both videos, not just *bleeps*.

There was still a few unusual things going on, but some of them were easily explained by others.
Apparently, Fleur and Steven showed up with Steven riding his custom made motorcycle. Melissa was certainly interested because it was custom made for Steven and she still wanted a new bike. Fortunately, Steven was more than happy to tell her where he got his bike. But that wasn't the most unusual thing.
The most unusual thing was that Steven's family weren't really wanting to spend time at the feast with him and Fleur. Part of it was what he was wearing to the event. His winter coat had come in, so he had chosen to wear a white sleeveless shirt and black leather jacket, tight black jeans, and custom made black leather boots with buckles and straps.
"Why won't Steven's grandkids and their family eat with him?" asked one Animalian cook after seeing this.
"I think I saw something similar in a Zits comic." answered the human cook, "It's called mortal embarrassment."

One that was, as one person who witnessed it called it, "oddly interesting" was Beacon and Allura seemingly being capable of eating extremely large amounts of food. But what made it unusual was the fact that their midsections were swelling up more and more (especially since neither of them were confirmed pregnant yet) while seemingly being unaffected by both the 2000+ calories and tryptophan.
"That's because down in the deepest part of the ocean depths, where Allura is from," said one of Horizon's researchers, who was explaining to some middle school students who were surprised at how much food Beacon and Allura were shifting, "meals are few and far between. So angler fishes evolved distending lower jaws and expandable stomachs to make the most out of every opportunity." Clearly Allura heard that part because she took a whole turkey leg and opened her mouth really wide to swallow it whole.
When Beacon and Allura finally left their table, their midsections were so swollen that they looked like both of them were overdue with sextuplets. Fortunately, Beacon had picked up the workout drive that both Xena and Allura had, so it would be easy to deal with the aftermath.

There was also an amusing addition that was considered understandable. There was a section where people who had succumbed to either the tryptophan/calorie combo or the alcohol could be laid aside so they could "sleep it off". There weren't many who were taking part in the alcohol because that was on the low end because Animalians didn't have a taste for alcohol, and so there were many more bottles of "sparkling" grape juice. But the tryptophan/calorie combo was more than making up for it, and many were seeing this as a chance to prank their friends when they were passed out.
Fortunately most of those pranks were harmless ones involving doodling on faces with marker that was easy to remove in the wash later.
