Braden was bored. The seventh grader was in his pre-algebra class and he was having a hard time paying attention. He had his phone in his pocket, so he slipped it out to entertain himself.
He noticed this thing called the Wish-Granting App, which he didn't remember downloading but figured must have come with the phone. Just as he had figured out the setup, he heard the voice of his teacher, Mr. Underwood.
"Braden, you're not supposed to be on your phone in class. Bring it up here now."
Braden panicked. He desperately typed, "I wish nobody noticed or cared that I'm on my phone." When he looked up, Mr. Underwood was back to teaching the lesson as usual and no one was looking his direction.
Braden was amazed. He wondered what else the app could do. He typed, "I wish I was the tallest kid in my grade." Instantly he felt bone pop and crack as he slowly lengthened until he was the tallest person in seventh grade, standing 5'10" tall.
