"Um..." Jen muttered. Laura leaned in eagerly with both bodies as Jen tried to figure out the best way to explain this. "To be honest, yes... but not *my* memory." Laura raised four eyebrows and looked at herself, obviously confused. "Let me explain," Jen continued. "These pills... Well, to be honest, I still coughed them up even before you injected me, they just didn't form into duplicates of me after 10 minutes."
Laura scribbled down notes. "So, you just produced pills for no reason?" "I've heard of weirder mutations, but that would sure be up there."
"Well, they're not *just* pills. Whenever someone eats them, they get a random... 'mutation', as you call it." Laura started to look herself over, trying to find if anything changed. "The thing is, they also alter reality, like your serum. Everyone but me thinks it's always been the case that, say, Amy has eight arms with dick-creating pussies on them."
"Really?" Laura excitedly asked, "So that's why you asked me if I'd always had two heads, right?"
"Y-Yeah. In fact, everyone in this school who's not a normal human was transformed by my pills."
"Even Principal Higham?"
"Yeah, even her." Jen took a deep breath to calm herself down.
"That's so cool!" "When did this start?"
"This morning." She should've suspected Laura would find this fascinating rather than concerning. "Someone cursed me over the phone."
"Well, that just seems unfair." "I'd've been far more comfortable with that power." She reached into her bag. "On the other hand, it gives me a chance to test something else, if you'll allow me some time to distill it..." Pulling out some more chemicals and syringes, she explained, "Given that reality alteration is now confirmed, I've tried making another serum to combat it and allow myself to retain memory of how things originally were." Without warning, Laura injected herself with something, and appeared disoriented for a second. "W-Woah... so that's what it's like to be a monobrain..."
"You alright?" Jen couldn't believe she was getting concerned over Laura.
"Oh, wow..." "You've made so many mutants..." She looked up at Jen. "I wanna see more."
