William is 14 years old. He walked into his room and saw the letter on his desk. He dropped it.
William’s mind began to race, he could do anything, make any wish. Then he stopped thinking, dead in his tracks, this was probably some joke message his parents had left him before they left, he just hadn’t noticed it until now.
Williams parents were away on business trip, he had the house to himself.
“Who the hell is Rose?” William said to himself, he saw the note glow slightly. He stepped back, maybe it was on fire. It stopped. He picked it up. The writing that was there before was gone, it now read, in the same hand writing but in the middle of the note it said, “don’t question it, just make a wish,” the note burst into flame and burnt into nothing. He stood there, thought for a moment and said,
“okay then... a wish... whatever I want?” He thought again, “okay. I’ve got it.” He stepped back, and closed his eyes, he began his wish, “I wish that anything I wanted will appear in the most convenient places. Like if I was out of milk, I would close the fridge door and then open it and find a full jug of milk. Or if I wanted a pen, I would reach into my pocket and there would be a pen regardless of if it was there before. Except it would be whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted.” William finished. Expecting there to be a bright light he braced himself. Nothing. He just stood there and said, “bullshit, I knew it,” he walked to the fridge, he had milk in there, but he knew he already had milk in there. He grabbed a can of coke and closed the fridge. He began walking away, he opened the can and realised he didn’t have coke to begin with, “hold on...” he ran back to the fridge and opened it. There were 3 more cans of coke in there, he took one and there was only one left before.
“Holy shit it worked,” he reached into his pocket and pulled out a $100 bill, “oh my god this is going to make my life so easy,”
William sat by the TV watching the TV. He smirked as he reached into the neck of his shirt and pulled out a chocolate bar. He really felt like he had it all, and honestly, he did. But he had a new wish the next day. What did he wish for?
