Knowing he couldn't go near the camera without being mistaken for a creep. His only choice was to wait patiently and wait for an opportunity. Thankfully there was a thick bush in which he could hide, just in front of a small hole in the fence, which would let him observe what's going on without being noticed by either side, or even another angle.
Meanwhile, Laura was about to take a first photo of a posing Jacki, when Rufus accidentally made his pregnant mistress fall. In an improbable chain of event the future mother accidentally threw the camera while falling.
While Jacki ran toward her sister wanting to grab her before she could hurt her baby or herself, Rick thought it was his best shot at taking back the camera, although far from an ideal one, and jumped out of his hideout and over the fence, ruining for the magical contraption.
Neither of the two sisters had the time to say anything to the stranger suddenly entering their backyard uninvited, as Rick accidentaly triggered the camera while grabbing it. The shot was taken in a wired angle Laura's pregnant belly, most of Jacki's body and Rick's face. But not the dog, Rufus ran back into the house, scared by the ruckus he had caused.
Before he could understand what was happening Rick found himself in the grass, on his back, his body feeling very strange. A very woried and just as much not pregnant Laura was leaning over him, almost like she had tried, and failed, to grab him before he could fall.
"Are you okay, Rita?"
Still in a daze, Rick wondered why he was being called Rita, but only answered "Yeah, I'm fine Laura. Just a bit dazed." adding how he knew that woman's name to the list.
"Sis, I know how much you like those old Polaroïd cameras, and how proud you are of your huge pregnant belly. But Porlaroïds weren't build with selfies in mind, and you're two week from popping out triplets! Seriously, what would you have done if you had hurt yourself or the girls!?! Aren't things hard enough with their father killing himself in a car crash?!?"
Hearing all this, the future mother started to rub her very huge belly. "So that's why I feel so heavy and bloated…" she thought. One would think that she would have found her new situation perturbing, but she was still stroking her belly, each rub making a happy, content smile slowly grow on Rita's face.
She may have come as Rick, a teenage boy wanting to put things back as they should, including his (former) girlfriend Emily. But instead she found something she shouldn't have been able to get: Motherhood. And Rita would rather die than let anyone or anything take it away from her! She doubted the magical camera could be destroyed, but if she needed to use it on anyone to ensure her soon to be kids stayed with her, she wouldn't hesitate in the slightest.
"Heay, things are certainly going to be hard… Thanks for letting me and Rufus stay with you, sis." Answered Rita, in a voice she only noticed now was identical to Laura's.
"Don't mention it Rita, that's the least I could do. And, to be honest… I missed having my twin around. Speaking of girls things, did you finally decide on my nieces names?"
"Emily, Jacqueline and Alice," answered Rita "or Emy, Jacki and Ali for short."

Meanwhile, Emily slowly woke up to find herself in a very dark place, plunged in some liquid. She would have struggled, but was two tightly packed what she could only describe as ‘a strangely stretchy, fleshy wall and two maybe humans’. And why wasn't she drowning? And what was that ‘cord’ she felt attached to her stomach around where her belly button was?
Its only when she heard that strange voice, simultaneously muffled and booming, reverberating in all her strange prison but still incomprehensible, that she understood she was now an unborn baby. It wasn't ideal, but still better than being a bra and, honestly, didn't have much hope to see things go back to normal. All she could do, really, is hope that her new parents would be nice and take good care of her and her new siblings.
